Well that's... Ok, it isn't the greatest thing ever, but at least I can paint it..

 

Acid Storm was pretty solid in terms of build quality, so I'm fine with this color deco - as long as it's priced the same of course.

 

I'm... really trying to like it. It's a shame both MP Sunstorm versions have gotten his colors all wrong. Still, if I ever have a decent coupon or a sale, I'll probably pick him up.

 

I don't like the flames, but otherwise I kind of prefer this. I like the shade of yellow on the TT version but it's a little monochrome. I have a giftcard I was saving for MP Prowl, but if I catch this dude on a sale he might be my first Decepticon MP purchase.

 

I'm going to say that your kids can play with MP figures but that's not the INTENT. They're not toys meant to be displayed...they're "premium collectors items intended for adults." That's the whole point of the MP line. Takara created something that celebrated the past for collectors in a modern way. Super engineered versions of G1 characters that fans grew up to love.

Kids can play with anything but it doesn't make it a toy. I'd be worried about giving my kids an MP only because of the hazards that can entail. Masterpiece figures are made for adults in mind, and I'm certain that they won't hold up to the rigors of play that kids can put their toys through.

Anyways...I don't give two shits about the Seekers that aren't the classic trio and the Coneheads, so I'll just skip this like I did Acid Storm.

 

It's beautiful! I can't wait to find it in the store.

I swear sometimes Hasbro's agenda is to make figures look as horrible as they possibly can. It's like they want to see how bad they can make something look before people stop buying it.

Release the updated Starscream? Nope. Release an updated Skywarp? Nope. Remold parts and make Dirge, Ramjet and Thrust? Nope. Let's pick two of the most obscure seekers we can think of and then give them decos that look nothing like the characters. YES!!!!!!!
