A new deco of the Justitoys Military Transport has been released. It's limited to 500 pieces and it's in new "vintage" colors (the colors of the G1 toy). Limited to 500 pieces.

Since then they released Solo Assault Group AND Military Transport... We can only dream we will get the third guy in the picture!

 

I would love it if JustiToys did in fact continue expanding the WST line, even if they have to do it a bit more discreetly. The fact that they are still churning out redecos of their existing stuff (albeit in limited numbers) gives me a little hope.

I do find it hilarious though that these redecos/reuses of Sixshot and now Astrotrain are coming a helluva lot faster than JustiToys took to release their other stuff.

 

Hopefully they are using the time to design some molds that can be sold at the big retailers without getting kicked out. Their last new mold, Solo Assault Group, came out just before the crackdown on them for not being original enough of a design. I seem to recall some stores (BBTS, TFsource, Robot Kingdom) were asked not to carry Justitoys and iGear products if they were only re-sized versions of Has/Tak products. iGear went on to make more original molds. Why can't Justitoys?

 

I was told by them that Blitzwing will be released with Wheeljack. But they didn't give a time when it would happen because they are still working on their Hybrid Dinobots

 

So is there a widescale release of this toy in different colors?

 

Yes, the first and widest release of the toy was in dark grey and purple in 2011. Then they released a white and black later than year. Now in 2013 they are making 500 that are G1 toy accurate.

 

Mind me asking what the name of the grey and purple one was? I'm having trouble finding it anywhere. XD

 

Their Hybrid Style Dinobots should be original, but those were announced way back and there've been no updates since...

Sadly Robot Kingdom, TFsource, BBTS and some others stopped carrying Justitoys WSTs because they were too close to Hasbro product.

Thanks! I actually hit up the 3 you mentioned and didn't see it there, so I figured it was just sold out. XD

 

$60 for this.......I love Astrotrain and even have the full size ehobby anime version but $60 for the toy colors WST is a bit high.

VNCToys.com has both Astrotrain versions as well for $30 each!

 

Oh totally, I'm interested to see what they could do with designs of their own...but given how slow they are in getting out previous products, I wonder how long that could take unless they seriously revamped their approach to things.

They are a bit expensive, but it is a more limited run than most third party stuff, and it does have a bit of die-cast so I suppose that explains the price.
