I've yet to see any Neca Turtles in Walmart.

 

So Walmart in Freehold just had 1 B.B Soundwave on the shelves, I assumed he was packed with 86 Hot Rod as I saw him as well. But besides them, major restock on Sweeps, Wreck Gar, Galvatron, Kingdom Deluxe wave 4, Beast Wars Reissues and Slug/Grindor wave.

I finally managed to nab a Tigatron. There was just one at the Cherry Hill Target.

 

Walmart on Route 72 Manahawkin has a lot of Tigatrons. Around 8 in total. I picked up the only BB Soundwave. There were 3 Sweeps and a Hot Rod too.
Target on 72 was a bust. A few Kingdom Galvatron and 2 Leader BW Megatrons.

 

The TRU Flagship Store at American Dream opened today. I went. Main takeaways:

- It’s massive. The first floor is puzzles, younger stuff, plush, board games, wood toys etc. Floor two is action figures, Lego, Playmobil etc.

- The stock is older, discounted from distributors kind of things. Nothing currently found through retail channels is here, so you won’t find the latest. It’s like an outlet. On the flip, it’s cool for finding things that haven’t been on shelves in a minute. And weird stuff, like the Walmart exclusive G1 Astrotrain reissue. Weird.

- The store clearly has no direct relationship with the manufacturers; shelves don’t have shelf talkers and properties are mixed together. Spider-Man next to series 3 BotBots, etc. The stock is well presented and the downstairs stuff, being more evergreen, makes you feel like you are in a very well-stocked store.

- There are demonstrations going on. A magician selling magic sets. Some TikTok guy selling custom vinyl art toys. There is a cafe.

- No bikes. No trains. No video games. If they do ever carry video games it will probably be like Kohl’s.

- Kids will love it. Serious toy hunters will be disappointed but probably still love the experience of walking around a real toy store.

- I don’t feel the need to go back.

 

I didn't even know a TRU was going up at American dream lol. I'm overdue another visit so I'll definitely check it out just for the novelty

 

Menlo Park target has a bunch of tigatrons!

 

UGH this review just killed it for me.
(not YOUR fault, in fact your review was absolutely perfect)

But it's this dumpster fire of TRU that they keep trying to resurrect that has me annoyed. I was going to go today/tomorrow after work, but it sounds like there is zero need for it.

I had visions in my head of walking in and seeing the WALL of overstock for all the things I personally am interested in. LOL

Anyway, thank you for this info!

at least another 4 as of 10am. I didn't think to check it in the store, but the one i bought has a crooked tiger eye.

 

Manalapan Target has 2 Kingdom Tigatrons and for those who collect Motu Origins, they had around 3-4 Mosquitors.

Hoping as Tigatron becomes more common I can find one with better eyes. Mine is looking in two diff directions.

 

Confirmed at 7PM, all were gone.

 

They were already gone, and I can't say that I'm surprised. But I did snag the last one at the Target just north of plainsboro on my way home.

 

Just made a quick run at Hackensack Target and scored their only Tigatron. He's getting more common I believe.
Also at this point if you see a Rhinox on shelf it means there was a Tigatron there with him - Happy hunting guys!

 

At the risk of firing up the local scalper squad, Berlin Walmart has 2 Tigatrons and 1 Pipes, as of about 20 mins ago.


Nothing new at Marlton and Voorhees Targets.
