Some of the first things to be reset are the endcaps.
One of those caps is a "new to target" set-up.
That's where a lot of T-Wrecks are popping up.
They're put out as soon as cap is complete.
Rodimus, galvatron, slag.& the rest are waiting for the main aisle to be competed.

 

Fair enough, but it's confusing as fuck. The target exclusives can go out and stock. The end caps can be reworked and stocked. But the rest of the isles are just going to be stocked by the 18th? It's just weird.

Makes me wonder what the real stock that is out there at retail. For instance, the street date for these figures was August 1st. You'd figure that Walmart is not reworking their isles, so we should have some spotting of the new figures at at least Walmart. But nothing. So at this point, I am kind of giving up hope that we will see any of these things at retail in the next 2 weeks.

 

I believe since Target owns the distribution exclusivity of their exclusives they can stock them as they see fit.

General releases are a whole different animal and have street dates. I believe Kingdom wave 3 official street date is Sept 1st. At least thats the date on Hasbro Pulse

 

Was it originally Aug 1st? Because the Target store for a lot of these figures said Aug 1st. That and other online retailers.

 

I am not sure, Pulse always had them listed for a September 1st release. Target usually does their reset around the beginning to mid August. In the past whenever they did their reset there was always older shit on the shelf which they would either clearance or incorporate into their reset which would hold them over until the new shit came in. now the pegs are barren and have been for a long time. so even though they do their reset it still looks the same. hell i didnt even know my Target did its reset until i saw the new Buzzworthy wave 2 tags on the shelves.

 

Most Targets by me have done their resets, but not much is out. I did notice that some Targets have shelf tags for MPM Prime but not the Ark or Rodimus. While other Targets have the reverse. The one closest to me doesn’t have shelf tags for any of them, of course.

 

Old Bridge Rt.18, Old Bridge Rt.9, and Woodbridge Walmarts all had essentially the same products. Blackarachnia and Arcee from kingdom, R.E.D Arcee and Cheetor, Netflix Sparkless and Cheetor, and Wave 1 Core Class for Kingdom.

Watchung Target had three T-Wrecks this morning on the endcap. I was there this morning, but I forgot to post until now.

 

Anyone see Grindor or Slug in the Menlo, Woodbridge, West Orange or Linden areas? Thanks!

 

At the Princeton Target now, and all the T-Wrecks are clumped together by the Neca section for some reason.

Once again, Target Rt 4 is a disappointment.

There was someone stocking the opposite side of the aisle who was nice enough to scan the barcodes on the shelves, all zeroes.

Only notable mention is plenty of T-Wrecks on the shelf.

 

My parents just picked up a worlds collide set at the delran target. 2 left.

 

Hit up Walmart in saddlebrook and teterboro. Both were sadly very empty. Saddlebrook looked like they just reset the aisle so maybe a shipment will come in soon.
