Integrity Classic Jem ID Page The new dolls have detachable hands. Sorry, it is an interesting thought.
the recent 2018/current 24/26cm. OBITSU aftermarket doll bodies also feature multiple-pose plug-on hands;
Aren't all TFs, except for combined mode, have built-in hands that are posable? The difference between dolls and robots...
The hands are posable, or the figures? Because yes, TFs usually have built-in hands, posable or not, but its very common for non-TFs to have removable/swappable hands. Hasbro does it with their Power Rangers and some Marvel Legends, and virtually every Japanese collectible like Figuarts or Gundam does it.
Ahh if I was a rich girl. @Cool Hand Lube Hasbro has this girl's brand called Jem and the Holograms. It has a doll line, a make-up/hair dye line, a soundtrack, a cartoon, a horrible PoS movie and a short comic. This thread is about the modern doll line.
Oh, I'm an 80's kid so I know WHAT Jem is, but I had no clue what the weird naked dolls were about above.
My wife was saying the same thing recently. IF I'm understanding it correctly I believe he was comparing how the new Jem dolls have removable hands like the old school Transformers. Though, this really isn't a new thing consider that most import action figures have removable hand options as do many of Hasbro's Power Rangers and Marvel Legends figures.
I didn't know old TFs had removable hands. I mean, I've got two OG ones, but it never occurred to me take their hands off.
It depends on the Transformer. Like G1 Optimus transformed that way... and the Seekers all had removable hands as well. When it comes to Transformers though it was more because that's how Takara designed them for transformation than as a display option.
