    Hi all!

I didn't see this posted anywhere, and, I don't want it to get lost in all the excitement over all the awesome stuff from Toy Fair!

Bleeding Cool just put up a new interview with James Roberts! :D

    Here's a link!

Transformers - James Roberts In Disguise - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors

This man just keeps getting more and more awesome! His personal views on Transformers and Credit-Giving which are awesome:

And his story promises which are awesome! :D

In case of surprise, unwarned, Hasbro-Style Cancellation:

    On upcoming story notes:

I've cut out that last bit of that last quote, as it could be considered a big spoiler, though, it's probably something that most avid readers and fans of the comic are hoping/expecting. :D

I can't wait to see what he's got planned! :D

My God, there would be riots in the streets if this were to happen.

    I'm in complete agreement!

Pardon the Spoiler filter, I'm trying to be cautious!

I do love the fact though, that, he's prepared for the kind of stunt that
was pulled on the Animated team, Simon Furman with his original "Ations" series, and, other Hasbro properties, like GI Joe Renegades. It's nice to know that regardless of what happens, even in the worse event, we'll still get the rest of his wonderful story! :D

The amount of detail in the story is incredible, truly a masterpiece comic series. And my favorite of all the series IDW as pumped out for transformers. And Whirl is my favorite of all the characters.

That warning is like "I know because Hasbro gave me hints" or "I have a contingency plan" thing?

I wonder if Brainstorm's briefcase is part of the "wrap it up quick" contingency plan.

Fantastic interview, this man is absolutely brilliant, the best thing to happen to the franchise (writing wise) since, frankly, ever.

If only we could get James to helm an animated film or tv series, now that'd be something truly amazing.

I would hope he would do the movies honestly. I mean anything that James Roberts write will not be for all audiences in the animated.

    I love this guy.

Really cool that he plans for unforeseen events. I'm almost curious as to what they are.

James Roberts is officially the best Transformers writer, for one reason alone.

He has an emergency contingency plan for if he has to wrap things up earlier than expected.

    I love this guy.

I just noticed James Roberts looks like Donald Sutherland a bit.

This might sound really cliche, or sad even.

But this man is my hero.

Is the future opening of the briefcase enough to motivate me to catch myself up? Me and my savings have slightly differing opinions.

    Yes.

I'm not sure if this says something about me or the state of the industry or maybe just one man's quality, but I've been reading comics for over 20 years and MTMTE is just about the only one I read anymore. It has craft and care and -- like he said -- character. It made me look at all these other books I was reading and realize that I just didn't care what happened. I love these characters. I've been rereading Season 1 -- something I've never really done with an ongoing series -- and there's just so much to love about every single one of them.

Thank you James for your talent and time.
Thank you Alex for the life you breathe.
Thank you Hasbro and IDW for supporting an excellent title with a modest readership.

    Soapbox rant: over.
