    Update:
Shoulder parts now available on Shapeways! Snatch up a set of the "original" Siege Soundwave Shoulder Slot Boombox parts:

Siege Soundwave Boombox Shoulder Set by ultramanzoffy on Shapeways

    IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you've bought a set of the shoulder parts, be sure to TEST FIT them and sand down the tabs gently if they are too tight! We test the fit on our copy of Soundwave, but because Soundwaves may vary from the factory and these parts are printed, it is important to not force them in or you can stress out your figure's plastic! Just a heads up... =)

This kit for Siege Soundwave increases his height to 7 inches, which is basically pre-Siege voyager height, and perfectly matches our Siege Shockwave Stretch kit. Slap these onto your Soundwave today! PM for order details and information. Not sure if these will be cost effective to sell on Shapeways yet, will check tonight and update this thread if they do. Upgrade your Siege figures and give Megatron some properly sized lieutenants! =)

UPDATE 4/9! Stretch Kit now available in dark blue! PM for more info!

UltraZof Toy Studio on Instagram: “Got a request to make a video showing how the Soundwave Stretchy Boom kit shoulder parts work, so here it is! It's harder than I thought…”

I'm liking all of the height extensions on these guys, but the one that would be great to see is for Sideswipe. He is the one I am most disappointed by in height, he doesn't come close to his Classics counterpart and it's a crying shame. Your design on adding parts to either the thigh or feet would work perfectly.

    Keep 'em coming :)

Does this solve the infamous leg issue for fan-box mode? and does his knees still work?

Knees still work of course, but I don't know anything about fan box mode?

So does it still allow for transformation? If so, how does he look in Alt mode?

Still transforms, the legs are just longer, so the panels that fold up to the cockpit sit further away from their usual position.

Yup, I'm going to be doing a print of the final version tonight and will post some up. Stay tuned! Oh, and I looked up "Siege Soundwave Boombox" and got an idea of how folks have been pulling that off... I'm pretty sure I can make it happen, but I'll need to draft up one more part tonight to do it. I should have a workable boombox kit created for him this evening. =)

I wasn't really up to date on all the fan modes folks were coming up with on Soundwave, and he's actually so close to pulling it off that it's annoying Hasbro didn't just make it a thing out of the box. Seriously, who even wants a Soundwave that transforms into a flying Cybertronian postal delivery ship? I would've even preferred his Cybertron light post mode over the flying brick thing. lol

    YouTube (Legacy):
THis is amazing! Im getting my soundwave in the mail today, and wanted to make him taller. I currenlt have the thigh extenders for Megatron. Im gonna see if those are compatible with them however these soundwave extenders look so much better!

Hmm, yeah, I'm not sure if the peg sizes on Megatron's thighs are the same size as Soundwave's, but there's definitely a good chance of that since they're in the same line and both "voyager" scale.

visually, yeah it looks nice, but I feel the terrible transformation and alt mode should be a much bigger priority when it comes to fixing up this figure.

Not our priority. My buddies and I just wanted him taller as a bot and to try and make him turn into a passable tape recorder. I don't care about his spaceship mode at all, I think it looks goofy and doesn't invoke Soundwave to me at all. =)

I was trying to imply any parts that could potentially help turn him into something that wasn't ridiculous, but I suppose that was rude of me to say in the first place given this is your thread and not the point of your efforts, I'm sorry about that.

You know that's a thing, right? Officially, the figure can pull off a mode based on that. Check the bottom box flaps.

My apologies, I didn't mean to come across like I took offense! We appreciate the feedback, but we don't really aim to try and please all preferences since that's kinda impossible. We just design what we want and put it out there, and if other folks like or don't like the ideas, we're cool with it either way. Please keep providing any feedback you have! =)
