I don't know. Can't be all that bad. It's kinda like its own little, animated, marvel, elseworlds tale. I'm willing to give it a shot.

Why is Stark a teen ... ? And Marvel greenlighted this? Should I ask another question? How many episodes till it gets cancelled?

 

I'll watch it, but it looks really bad... the animation is soooo ugly, and the relaunch seems to be a tad drastic, and seems to be missing alot of what makes IM/T.Stark work as a character.

 

I could get use to everything if Stark wasn't 13.

 

When I first heard about the plot I was extremely disappointed and I knew it was going to be dumb. Then I saw the trailer and it was just as bad if not worse than I thought it was going to be. Why on earth would you make a show about a teenage Iron Man? That makes absolutely no sense. Most of the things that make Tony Stark Iron Man will only work as an adult. For example the alcoholism. 2 reasons why that won't work: 1. It's a kids show 2. He's underage. Unless he's going to be a 17 year-old alcoholic. What the heck was with Mandarin? He looks so ******ed. I mean I was hoping for a good Iron Man show after the disaster that was the 90's series. What do I get? I get an agnsty teen, and his angsty friends, who dresses up like Iron Man, fights an animeish, demon-looking, Mandarin; all the while having to deal with highschool in Speed Racer The Next Generation Animation. Oh yeah that sounds like a winner.

Looks so-so. Teenage characters probably won't work on Iron Man, but give it a chance I guess.

I place a bet that the kid with glasses and the dragon shirt shown near the beginning of the clip is the Mandarin and he'll end up being friends with Tony at school, all the while Tony is fighting him in their alter-egos.

I do approve of the use of Obidah Stane, I guess after the movie it's a must but it is good to have more villains than the Mandarin. 90s series was flawed for overusing him at the expense of everyone else.

Anyways, Iron Man cartoons never really worked for me, so I'll pass.

 

Marvel has a really poor track record when it comes to cartoons, and this show isn't doing it any favors. DC utterly destroys them in this area.

 

Wow...I'll still give it an ep or two, but everything that makes Tony Stark an interesting character is gone  

 

Man that looks shitty. And not just because it's a non-man Iron Man. The animation is crap. I always hated that blend CGI/Cell animation. It makes the characters look stiff, fake, and just bleh. (however, this is personal opinion. Animation can be overlooked if the plot, voice acting, writing, etc... are good) Second, the whole thing with Iron Boy...

Yeah I can't stand the style either. It reeks of desperation to me. It's like they know the premise sucks and will be hard to watch for adults, so they try to make it look pretty and expensive and "revolutionary".

 

....I like it. Yeah, Teen Tony makes me cringe, but, other than that, I really like the look of it, epesically Mandarin. He looks badass. I like the "quest for the rings" storyline they seem to be hinting at.

Man, between this and the new X-Men cartoon, I really wish I had Nicktoons.
