I'd be much more excited about Ultra Magnus if he actually came with a trailer to combine with, or something... Magnus is more than just a pasty Optimus Prime!

 

I want that Ultra Magnus so badly right now. When's he and Skywarp due, anyway?

 

Magnus looks great. I love that they changed up his stripe patterns, instead of the straight pallet swap he's been since G1.

Am I the only one who thinks it's silly to expect to get a complex (and no doubt expnsive) accesory with a repaint that the original version of the mold didn't come with? If Prime had a trailer it'd be different, but....

 

Well I wonder if the camera is from G1 with the 3 decepticons the make a camera..anyone remember them? As for Magnus, he looks ok but yeah we all need a Different type, not a Prime rip off!

 

Yeah he's called Reflector and everyone has been saying htat.

Greyryder, I think the problem is UM shouldn't be treated as a repaint. He's his own character and should have his own mold. They should have done a new figure. At least alter the mold a little. People are suck of UM repaints.

Well he is, and that's how Hasbro has used him for the past few years. No sense in complaining about it, everyone should be used to it by now.

Personally, I'm a sucker for white Magnus, and black Scourge/Nemesis repaints of Prime molds  

 

Im hoping for the Reflector name too.

 

I did it immediately! But with the blue on top, it looks like the cockpit thing with the claw in Prime's trailer, and that's rad.

Wish I knew how to describe it besides "cockpit thing with the claw in Prime's trailer."

Why is everyone assuming the camera will be movie related?

 

Probably because just about everything next year (outside of Attacktix and most Titaniums) will be. Also because we've seen listings of Movie "Real Gear" toy assortments.

I was wondering if they could be part of the Heroes line, but it seems like Hasbro will want to push the movie as much as possible.

 

Magnus is looking good, but I'm definitely going to have to slap some more paint on his head to contrast all the white.

 

I know that camera won't be a main line character in the movie, so I can spoil myself by looking at it now.  

Didn't someone mention it was a background character in a department store in the movie when the energon-matix-cube-thing-on-a-stick-thingy caused electronics to come to life? Oh those many eons ago......

As for magnus, damn, looks better than I thought. I think I might skip prime altogether and just get this with skywarp. Yea I don't have any classics voyagers yet. Whenever it comes out of course.
