If these are frontline bots I will probably have problems with them.
But these are nice small background supporting bots. Their looks fit their position among other figures. They are not stealing the spotlight from the others.

Are you Overlord? That's a very LSOTW thing to say lol.

I wanted to swoop in and defend Bomber, but his head takes up about a third of his fuselage... Who knows; maybe Peaugh will review him and say it looks much better in hand than on camera? ;)

That line of logic most likely comes from the fact that we haven't seen the stand alone bot modes for the six. No one can say tha giants gestalt mode is'nt neat.

Technically, I don't think that there is anything wrong with this Powerglide and Seaspray. They don't appear to be lazy designs or of suspect quality. However having said that, I can't say that the 'G1 vintage' style they went with is to my liking. I will certainly pass on these two because of that alone as they just look like better articulated G1 minibots down to the same 'cheesy' looking vintage sculpt style. They are not offering much more than that.

I already have the original G1 minibots, why do I want these? Articulation isn't enough for me.

What I prefer and no one seems to be delivering is proper deluxe sized 'Classics' minibot characters. Remember that in the comics and cartoons they were regarded as normal sized transformers not goofy midgets.

I want to see modernized 'Classics' interpretations in toy form. Articulated 'vintage' sculpts don't do it for me.

Yep. I'd want minibots that were the same height as classics Bumblebee..

Yeah, I can live without these two. What's with their proportions? They just look kinda... all over the place. I'm pretty sure I'll be putting that money towards something else...

I love Powerglide's big head - reminds me of the original. I'll definitely be getting these. Igear gets my money too. Everyone wins! :D

I'm not sure you are. In any thread on this site, for some reason, people like to bitch, and bitch, and bitch....especially about things that haven't been released.

Like someone else said, if the minibots are small, people will complain about them being too small, and if they're bigger, people will complain about them being too big.

I like the slightly-off proportions of these, as far as recreating the feel of the original minibots, which were goofy in design but fun as hell. Things like the Generations Warpath just don't feel as nostalgic for me.

From what I remember of the prototypes shown at Botcon, they should be similarly sized (around Legends class). They looked appropriately small.

I'm also planning on picking up both companies' minibots.

Really don't see how people can prefer the igear seaspray. Its upper body shape is just stupid, with a massive gap where the shoulders connect to the body. This one does it much better.

Yeah, does seem like MT is succeeding more in terms of G1 accuracy, at least with Seaspray. Have we seen iGear's Powerglide yet?
