I honestly can't wait to get him, he's the only Classics Seeker I'm missing, lest they decide to make Sunstorm (which I'd love to happen).

So once I obtain him, I will only be missing Skywarp and Ramjet, might have to grab 2 TCs to make me a SWarp, cause I doubt he will be re-released, and I'm gonna have to find me a decently priced Ramjet.

 

Looks awesome, can't wait to finish off the Seekers!

I am excited. I had the Henkei one, but I sold his loose ass in anticipation for this one.

 

I've got two of the Henkei TCs, one real and one KO, and I cannot wait to add this TC to the seeker fold. He's just different enough to be another new character. And I am really excited that everyone will finally get to complete the set. This is an amazing time to be a TF fan and collector, particularly if you started back in '84.

 

I don't think it will hurt the Botcon version at all. I myself am looking very forward to TC. I made a custom one from Acid Storm, and it didn't turn out the way I thought it would. I can't event convert him at all he's stuck in bot mode  but I can't wait till he arrives..... So it's good for everyone.

I own the GOD set, and have had Thundercracker for 4 years. Am I thrilled about Hasbro running roughshod over FunPub's BC exclusives? No. Am I angry? I was at first, but I think I've come to expect it from Hasbro. It's one of the black marks on their record that has made me a little less happy with them of late. Not much I can do about it, and I'm not sure I see the point of bitching about it. I paid "retail" for the GOD set even though I wasn't able to go to that con. I don't regret owning the exclusive set - if nothing else, I'll always have the exclusive BC molds for Dirge and Thrust, Bug Bite, and they haven't done a Dreadwind release outside of the Botcon set yet either... So "enh".

 

I'm a GOD owner and I'm actually happy that Hasbro released TC for the retail masses. I sold my Henkei TC a few months back believing that they were going to release TC in the US and I actually made a nice little profit on it. In my opinion, GOD TC is a little better because of slight color differences and the mold was more stable back then. Also, I think that GOD Thrust is actually much better than Hasbro's latest Thrust so for me it's a "win-win"

 

Looks good. Glad I sold the Henkei one. I do like the Henkei's cartoon-color scheme better, but I am guessing this one will not have the QC issues the Henkei one did. Also, it would be nice to have some cheap f-15s available agin for Aerialbots customs

The completionist in me is just about having a seizure.

Oh and... thanks Railspike for being the ONLY person to bitch up a storm about this figure because of the GoD set. There had to be one.. right? RAGE!! RAH!!

 

Good news for those who could not afford the botcon version. The colours are rather nice. I remember talk about members wanting a seeker three pack. Of course it would need a name perhaps Seeker Air Superiority.

Also a number of radicons repaint the seeker mold into Sunstorm. Maybe if it was done it could be a two pack along with a reissue of Voyager Jetfire. A sort of throwback/homage to the Dreamwave story they had going. As for a name maybe Fire Fight In The Sky.

Just a thought I've been kicking around for a day or two.

 

Sunstorm is the only one missing in a Generations version, correct?
