    Optimus looks a damn sight better than that upscaled Legends IDW Optimus, that's for sure.

    Bumblebee seems decent enough, but not quite as nice as Optimus IMO.

    I'm looking how Optimus looks here so far. He takes a lot of cues from his Aligned design which is cool. I hope he has some knees.

    Bee on the other hand doesn't look that appealing.

    They look fun for the kiddies, less joints means the figures will be less finicky which might be a good thing for this age range.
    Any word on pricing?

    No knees on Optimus confirmed. Look at the vehicle mode for him, and then look right behind his thighs towards the bottom - no clearance whatsoever to bend his knees.

    It's a really nice design. I'm hoping eventually Hasbro reuses it for a Leader Prime to go with Megatron.

    No, after looking at the Robot mode picture the thighs are hollow, and after looking at the Vehicle mode picture, he has no Knees.

    Thighs are a dead give away.

    These are really great Transformers for small kids. Simple and posable at the same time.

    Will I buy them? no. Do I hate them? Not at all. For me this is a step in the right direction for simplified figures. Still some articulation, still some detail, and more than one step to transform. Given how the main line has decided not to give us wrist swivels much anymore, I can't expect this line to do it. Not a bad showing for a simplified line, and the heads (especially BBs) look pretty damn good.

    The Thighs are hollow and they have ratchets, they looks like they have the deluxe ratchet system in there hips, and they have lots of pins.

    Oh man, if that OP had knees I'd be all over it (especially a Nemesis version). That looks like it could kick my ass.

    ATTN: Hasbro and Takara, if you make a scary-looking Optimus with a trailer and a long-nose cab and an integrated transformation I WILL buy the black repaint and hug him and love him and call him Scourge.*
