I made a comparison pic of all my Animated TF's.
Starscream is a lot bigger than I thought.
    And Prime a lot smaller

Is anybody else getting the sense of impending doom? On-topic, Bumblebee actually looks to be a nice big deluxe (wasn't expecting him to be quite so big, though we have seen him in comparison pics before. Prowl looks awesome as always. These two should be really cool once they are released.

Cool. While Starscream does look really big, he is quite skinny. The exact opposit is true (for me at least) for Bulkhead. He may be short, but, he makes up for it in his bulk.

While Prowl is quite a feat of engineering, I'm still not a big fan of this style.

I'm not much of a fan either (Prime, Megs, Bulkhead come to mind), I think I'd be a fool if I passed on some of the figures (BB, Starscream, Prowl, Lockdown)...

BB looks good, but the yellow plastic still looks kinda cheap (I'm not bashing it, it might not photograph well). Prowl is AMAZING. Still. I can't wait until I can get my hands on one.

And just to confuse you more, Lockdown (robot mode is Voyager sized) is actually a deluxe. Not too many pics of it have come up yet, but it does have a thread in the feedback forum.

I knew about Lockdown being taller, stoked on that! I guess with Voyager Prime, dx prowl, dx bumblebee and leader bulkhead things will be roughly in scale. I'm guessing Ratchet is a voyager?

The style is the best since BW and the movie line. That's the main draw for me to these figures. What the G1 'bots should've looked like.

Both are awesome. Animated is deffinately the new G1. (Well, BW for me;) )

Same here man, I hope it goes on longer than BW =D The toys definitely look awesome and are incorporating the technology from BW and the movie line with some automorph.

I'm glad for this pic - I think it finally convinced me to skip that mold of Prime altogether. I never really liked it anyway, but was doing my best to convince myself it was worth having. After seeing it side by side BB, not so much. Will hold out for the Earth mode Voyager (or potential Leader) sized version instead.

Bulkhead at that size still looks too ridiculous to consider buying. Thank goodness for the supposed Leader size... though based on the way this figure transforms, it could still end up being only the height of a tall Deluxe in bot mode.

Bumblebee looks great, but I do wish he was a tad smaller, both in terms of height and overall bulk.

Starscream looks good as well, but could quickly become out of scale when the larger versions of Megatron, Prime & Bulkhead are released. I wonder if they'll consider doing a Leader sized version of him as well... to stay a little more in scale with how big he is in the show.

No question about it, Animated *will* get my money - it's just a matter of choosing the best size class representation since there's no way I'll buy multiple sizes/versions of the same character.

Nice pics of BB and Prowl. I wish they were coming out sooner, though.

So Far Megs is only one I want to buy for myself. But I'll still end up buying some for my 8 yr. old son so I have an excuse to play with them. But from a collector standpoint, I'd rather use this opportunity to complete my Alts and buy sum o'dem der Takara's Gee-wun goodies! :drunk  Yee-Haw! :music

I thought Bumblebee would be alot smaller. Hell he's taller than Bulkhead. Bulkhead would be awsome as a $40 figure. To bad we couldn't have just gotten more compact figures for the deluxe size to make the Megas stand out more. Making the deluxe more like an extreamly intricate basic.
