As if I'm not already hyped for this monster.  

 

I'm of two minds on this guy.

As much as I appreciate all of the engineering that went into this Devastator - 8 movie figures with altmodes that combine,at retail,no less- I think I'm going to pass on this guy. I like the designs of some of the individual components (Scavenger especially), but I'm not ready to drop $260 over the next year and a half just to complete the team.

Personally,I'll just wait for video reviews where people put other toys next to Devastator so they can show off how big it is. That'll be interesting.

Overload as a Leader class figure is quite the surprise.

I figured Scavenger would be the only Leader class figure in the set.

A dammed shame that we have to wait until next year for the other 4 to be released. Hope promo pics for them are released sooner than later.

I want this guy so damn bad, but I am not looking forward to dropping like $300 on it on top of having to hope I can actually find and complete the set of them (because that should always be a worry when it comes to being able to buy something you have money for right?). Then again, I also need to convince the girlfriend that I need to spend $300 on more crap to stick on a shelf.

Fair enough, though I find it rather pointless posting on a forum to declare that you're not interested. It's not as if anyone's demanding this to be seen.

 

So I had a pretty annoying morning involving some bloodwork, and this news that we're getting a leader class figure of possibly this design has brightened my day up a bit.

 

I don\'t understand why it takes so long to get this made. I get that 3P have to sell one piece to fund the next. But this is Hasbro. Why can\'t they make the whole set all at once? If this was release as a set, I would absolutely buy this. By next year I think I may lose interest.

 

We are waiting for the appearance of his enemy scrotum!

I hope people arent getting too hyped up for Spider legged Overload. A design based on the legends class figure seems a lot more likely given that he'll have to support two voyagers, two deluxes and a leader.
