Hey, just a word out here. I picked up my copy of Skipjack today, and pretty much immediately replaced Devy's leg with him. I was surprised at how much better it looked. Downside, and I don't remember this but the arms are now loose at the hinge on my copy of Rampage. Could be from the fact that I've had him in foot mode for about 4 months now. Might be a bit of a warning for Skipper here.

I think the weight of the arm is too much for the rivet and loosens it over time.

Might be so, but it was never in bot mode to stress the rivet.

Could it also be the pressure of devastator on rampages arms?

I wonder if there’s a way to slap rampage onto devastator. Maybe on the back to bulk him out. It’ll take some massive fanmoding. It won’t be super secure but just a place to put him so you can have all nine constructicons together.

My Rampage’s arms were doing the same thing long before I ever used him as a foot, so I think those joints just don’t have a lot of longevity in that respect.

Same here. Sometimes I think about trying to tighten them, but I can still pose them OK in robot mode and they lock in foot mode so it's not a huge deal.

Now, the friction joint in his waist, that should have been a ratchet. Mine caves under Devy's weight constantly in the official configuration.

Do you not have that joint all the way down when he’s in foot mode? I can’t see how that joint would crumple if it’s pressed down like it should be.

The proper official configuration has it at a 90 degree angle - you can tell because it's the exact same height as the Long Haul foot when attached to Overload, and they added a height difference to Overload's connectors to compensate for the height difference of the legs. You can push it down past 90 and it does increase stability (it's the only way to get him standing straight on that foot) but then the legs are unbalanced lengths and it's putting stress on Rampage's 'wrist' joints they were never designed for.

Usually what I do to balance him is bring the Rampage foot forward until the loading on the friction joint is directly above it so it isn't applying any torque to the joint.

I guess one good thing about the KO skipjack is that it has screws instead of pins, so joints can be tightened. Guess I will leave that copy in foot mode.

I think I found a way to put rampage into devastators back. I use the treads and the arms to hug scavengers upper wheel, and overloads legs to kind of pinch them in place. It’s solid enough to not wiggle but if you pick the whole ting up by rampage it’ll come off. I’m doing this so he has an optional place to go so skipjack can be the leg.

It’s weird that a lot of the Constructicons have a factory wide missassembly or problem.
Rampage’s torso piece is assembled backwards.
Long Haul’s waist ratchet is extremely wobbly and loose.
Hightower’s ratchet/limb joint is limp as hell.
Scrapper’s has red paint apps on his nostrils rather than his eyes.

I don't have overload, so not sure how viable this will be when it comes to supporting weight, but after seeing everyone's custom configurations I tried making my own "more accurate" version of Long Hauls leg mode.

It's not perfect, but I do like it.

Concept art has that two-toe type of foot:

He also had that foot in the videogame:

This is the best shot I could find from the movie:

Barely noticeable but it does look like he has that same foot configuration
