Why people keen showing the horrible hasbro version, when takara did a better job?

 

I suppose Scavenger isn't too odd to me because he had a pretty prominent role in ROTF (which was a highly successful movie). Or maybe that was Demolisher, but they basically look the same. Overload is definitely an interesting case since he was barely in the movie and didn't even transform. But his role in Devastator probably necessitated him being a Leader class. If he didn't need to combine, I'd guess Hasbro would have made him a Voyager (or just not made him at all). Again, Hasbro certainly could make Canopy a Leader, I just feel like a Voyager is more likely.

 

We’ve been through a lot together. As a group of transformer geeks, were basically a small family. I haven’t asked anything from any of you but I need a solid from all of you. Hold me back from buying overload from eBay for $100. Please.

Is there anywhere I can get Scrapmetal and Hightower for a reasonable price? They're so expensive now. Rampage is expensive now too but I'll just get Skipjack instead.

Don’t know where you are but Hightower is on Amazon for $18 and rampage and scrapmetal are on hasbro pulse for standard us price. So yeah.

 

No, Scrapmetal is not on Pulse. Need to check actual listing.

Best bet for Scrapmetal is to call the Walmart stores in your vicinity and pray they have one still in stock. Otherwise, this one would be the most difficult to find near MSRP.

Hightower still shelfwarms at a lot of stores.

Some Walmart or Target stores may still carry Rampage.

 

If all else fails, there is a ko of Scrapmetal on AliExpress for around 16 Canadian (1/2 the official). A friend I recently introduced into TFs had to go that route and it's actually decent quality.

 

In my defense I saw a quick glimpse of yellow and just assumed it was scrapmetal, but it was Hightower, go figure. I was right about Hightower and rampage though, so credit where credit is due. After searching the web I still can’t find scrapmetal anywhere except for eBay, but chances are you’ll find him at Walmart or some back alley black market store eventually.
