I've had every single Constructicon on preorder, and ended up finding them in the store long before the preorders were due. I found Scrapper last month at Walmart. I have Overload on preorder, but if the trend continues, I'll probably end up picking him up in-store.

I’m really glad these dudes came out piecemeal, as I’ve quite enjoyed them individually. Scrapmetal and Mixmaster especially, because I doubt I’ll ever disassemble Devastator once I finally finish the set.

I’m also pretty happy they’ve been released this way too. I’m not one to leave a figure on a shelf and not mess around with it, but it’s been nice to learn the ins and outs of every figure individually before the grand finale.

Scrapper came in. Not as good as scavenger but he’s damn close.

And does anyone have a way to tighten the connector pin on Hightower? Now that I have scrapper I’m seeing how loose it really is.

These guys also have way more individuality compared to the G1/Scramble stuff. Honestly, if you didn't know they could combine there's nothing that really screams it besides the two connectors on Scrapper/Hightower, and those are pretty well out of sight in both modes.

It makes them really stand out among all of the other combiners... damn near in the entire franchise.

Scrapper will hopefully arrive tomorrow. This set got me back into chug stuff. I picked up Netflix Magnus & Hotlink, ER screamer, and SS sentinel last night.

I also picked up Cang toys first bot this month. And new guitar pickups... why did I have to pick 2 expensive hobbies.

My scrapper shipped today but June 1st is the delivery day. Still no sign of Sentinel Prime on Amazon Canada.

Been waiting for Sentinel too. It makes no sense. They're released as a case; how can a retailer have one but not the other?

Yeah, it's odd. I found Sentinel at Target and Walmart yesterday, but Brickseek has no scrappers near me for 100 miles.

Brickseek can't tell you the stock of specific figures, just assortments. So you can check, for example, how many SS Voyagers a store has, but not how many Scrappers they have.

I was wondering the same thing but @Nevermore mentioned that Amazon apparently gets special cases that are full of the same figure instead of the usual assortments. Either that or maybe Sentinel sold out already?

I thought DCPI let you do that. The upc said my Walmart had it, but it was just SS voyagers in general. The DCPI said no scrapper, but SS voyagers were at my Target.

The individual figure DPCIs are really only used for online orders from Target - in-store they're tracked by the assortment DPCI, so searching the individual ones will return no results. You have to use the assortment DPCI.

    Thanks for the info.

Also, I clicked your Biological Chronicle a month or two ago (quarantine + work from home is awful for tracking time). Thanks for the massive amount of info. I ended up buying a set of Toa Nuva w/Takanuva, Rakshi, and Bohrok-Kal.

I've taken it apart before, it's real simple. Just the two screws on the side. It's a standard heavy ratchet, with two ratchet plates and a spring on cross-axles. You could put material under the spring or in between the spring and ratchet plate to increase the compression, but I don't know how much that'll help as the spring itself is very soft. You could also try stretching the spring, though that often doesn't last over time as a method of joint tightening.

EDIT: Just stretched the spring on mine and it added enough spring force to support me moderately shaking arm mode around by the connector peg.

I tried to add some compressed cardboard in that exact spot you’re referring to and it helped for a short while. Went back to being loose again. I’ll have to try and stretch the spring then!

My Scrapper arrived from Kapowtoys as well. This much closer to completing the big guy!
