If those windows are final, that's hilariously terrible.
Maybe it is a, and I dare to say it, from the factory stolen reject. Otherwhise it wouldn´t make any sense that only half of the cabine is painted.
Anyway, he looks good, that is all I can say about him for now.
I’m sure it’s an incomplete factory sample. The roof of the cab is not painted on that side either which looks even more strange.
Having said that, Scavengers front window of his cab is not painted even though the side windows are so you never know!
For what it’s worth, the renders on the back of the box depict the windows on the other side of the cab as being painted:
So only 5-6 more months to wait....
Earlier than that for sure
July, shipping end of June?
For what it's worth, you can see in the NYTF Pic that the whole cabin is painted. I don't think we're gonna have to worry about that.
Amazon Canada said august and still has my order listed for then, so we’ll see when it actually comes out I guess
With all this talk about the Virus, it's going to be a loooooooooooooooooooooooong wait for Scrapper and Overload.
Gives me a chance to save up, especially since I'm out of work during all of this. I'm perfectly fine waiting on them.
kinda disappointing he cant turn at the 5th wheel like a belly dump or any other vehicle with a trailer should
they could have made the transformation allow that.
To be fair, he's got an awful lot to carry in combined mode (an overload if you will). lol.
No, in fact scavenger front window IS painted (RED)when it should have remained unpainted to get across the idea of a window
EDITED BECAUSE I WROTE REN INSTEAD OF RED
Shut up, stimpy
but cool trivia fact
Yep, probably some structural reason.
Then again, leader Dotm Megs didn't have a turning hitch when he absolutely should have
Even though the VOYAGER DOTM Megatron from nine years ago hilariously did! (And a better transformation, in my opinion. Makes the new leader look lazy in comparison.)
They seem to be abandoning functional alt modes for these Constructicons (no dump truck functionality on Long Haul; no working scoop on Rampage, etc.), but I'd say that's an acceptable compromise for making a triple-changing combiner team with eight unique Bayverse designs that shouldn't even be able to exist in the real world.
Look closer. The side windows on Scavenger were painted red as well and then painted again with a metallic silver. They are not the same colour as the grey plastic of the cab. The front window should have been painted metallic silver as well.
Amazon has the preorder for Overload at $30.
