Looks pretty nice, but still, I'm gonna wait for reviews before considering it.

Also, I really want to see this guy next to the Seeker mold.

Wish it had more of a painted look so it'd look more like it was die-cast. The metal I can live without but painted plastic like on the Alterity, BT-Kiss Players would have been nice.

Also any news on the mini MP Megatron?

I got an email from them requesting payment a few minutes ago. I think I may ball up and throw down the cash instead of waiting for reviews. Someone has to bite first right? I suppose I can take one for the team and share my opinion with others who are waiting to see how they are.

$113 for a tiny MP Prime is a tough cookie to chew through.

I'd love to get this and the Nemesis version but it's really spendy. If rave reviews come out I may bite, but for the moment I'm happy with my Masterpiece and Classics Optimus.

i'm sure a lot of members here would appreciate it. even if it was bad QC....for like maybe 50 it'd be nice as a display piece and if it's to scale to like seakers n stuff for the other fans. but let's hope for the best.

They get an A for effort, but in the end I think I've got bigger and better things to spend a Ben Franklin and some change on.

I'm disappointed with how slowly this company releases their products, especially since most of them are blatant reverse-engineers of legit products. I'll pass on this.

I caved and bought both. I'll have a review when I get mine.

The more I look at it, the more I feel the need to get it now.

That clear version is mighty tempting, but no unofficial stuff for me.

Can't wait to see more pics, though!

Interestingly I entered into a live chat session with someone at iGear earlier and they are still looking at doing the mini-MP Megatron at some point. I then joked that they could take the other route and UPSCALE the MP seekers to be the same size as MP Prime and Megs and they said they were looking into that too! Now if they upscaled them to 1/48 scale I'd bite no matter what the price!

I bought the regular version (though the clear version really catches my attention too). I'm happy w/ my classics prime, but MP toy that is larger than my classics and cast in all plastic w/ a new head just calls to me. I *think* this isn't an iGear product proper - rather, they are the distributor, so I'm crossing my fingers the quality control is better.

Anxiously awaiting him and if her turns out well, then the MiniMPMegs we saw a while back.

I bought the normal version Faith Leader. I've wanted a Voyager sized (give or take) G1 Optimus Prime for the longest time.

I STRONGLY recommend people wait for the reviews.

I bought the iGear Ark Command Center, thinking that they really couldn't mess something like that up. And to be fair, the idea is sound, the design is nice, and for what I paid, it's a lot of plastic.

But the tolerances... we're talking about square plastic panels... and they don't line up. Even just in pairs, and you have TWELVE baseplates and accompanying wall plates to attach, the tolerance errors mount to the point where it's almost impossible to get anything workable out of it.

If iGear has trouble making simple slot and tab pieces go together, how are they going to manage the intricacies of an MP mold? Much less one scaled down so dramatically?

Things may be different, they may have a completely different production team working on it, it might be FansProject quality work after all.

But I strongly recommend people wait for reviews before dropping that kind of green on something like this.

Yeah I have the teletran set also, and it pissed me off seriously trying to assemble it. It looks great now that I have it reinforced on the back of the panels with tape. I ordered them because I figured there is no way they could release an inferior product, they are on moderately thin ice with thir reputation for quality as it is. If these things are bad, no way they will sell anything in good numbers in the future.
