The answer SHOULD be nothing. But they certainly put themselves into it. I shop there occasionally. I wish I was still near a good hobby store so I'd have no reason to go in.
I found them already on sale at my local Hobby Lobby so the 40% coupon wouldn't work (only regular priced items). However, they had 50% off their metal decor so I was able to grab an older TMNT Cowabunga metal plate for the game room. Eventually I want to fill the empty wall space in the game room with various metal plates from Star Trek to Marvel/DC and Hobby Lobby has a lot of them. Just have to wait for the 50% off sales!
Check again, but this time look on the back wall of the store. They have a TON of canvas prints up there they recently got in, and you'll have to have someone get one down for you if that's where it is. I almost gave up today, but I asked someone before I left and he showed me where it was. SG Roadbuster: I live in Webster, too. If you really want one you could get one from me so you wouldn't have to actually go to the store.
Guys I grabbed these today. I didn't nt know if it was already mentioned but mine also had a metal g1 megatron. Same pic as his g1 box art. Slightly bigger than the bumblebee sign and a dollar cheaper. Maybe we will get more characters later
Spoke to one of the employees at HL, and she told me that they had tons of TF stuff "in the back", that they would slowly be putting out.
So where would someone from saay.... Australia find that Bumblebee? Also does it have a name if I was to try and find it on eBay besides "metal Bumblebee"? Thanks all.
Is there a store Item number, or an SKU for it? I looked around the HL in St. Augustine today and couldn't find anything TF related...
Check ALL 4 walls of the place, front to back... I thought they'd have them in the canvas pics as they had tons of Marvel, Star Wars and DC items on the display shelves in that area... was about to give up, then as I was walking to the front... spied them with my eyes on the right wall... WAYYYY UP HIGH... they had to get the big ladder in order to get them down for me.... and this week they're 50% off, so worth the wait to get them down!!! Bought 2, 1 for me, 1 for my nephew for Xmas! It'll look great on his bdrm wall. Looked in all the metal signs (50% off this week too) but didn't see the Bee or Megs... maybe I'll head back in a couple of days.
Hey guys. I work at Hobby Lobby and thought I would chime in here to give you all some straight answers about this canvas. It is part of a collection of items that we get at the end of the year and sell through spring. The majority of the items are not re orderable and once they are gone that is it. Right now I do not know of this Transformers piece is orderable or not. If I had to guess I would say it is not. These pieces are all marked down 50% off the list price and will stay that way until they all sell. This markdown also means you cannot use a 40% off coupon on the item. These pieces will be put out in the seasonal area once Christmas sells down over the next few weeks. Now they will more than likely be in the stockroom or up high along the outside walls. Good luck to everyone looking for this. Hope this info helps.
I found the G1 print at the HL in Bloomington, MN last night. They had 4, I snagged one. The base price is $39.99, marked down 50% to $20. They're up in the front corner of the store where all the Christmas stuff is. No metal Bumblebees to be found, but I was told to check back because they get more stuff like this at random.
I found these today while shopping at Hobby Lobby. I gave them my money. I then ate at ChickFilA afterwards, and lovingly trolled people in this thread with my real life choices.
I went back to Hobby Lobby today, and they had the Bumblebee and Megatron metal signs. I asked the woman who put them out about the picture and she hadn't seen any yet. She said they get a truck on Monday so I should check back after that... Grabbed the Megatron while I could!
Congrats! He looks great, gotta go back tomorrow and check again.. As for the canvas...Check those WALLS folks, LOOK UP HIGH.... nobody on staff at my store knew they had them either, but once I started looking up on the walls, I found them!!
