The Barricade and Sideswipe, Twins and Sideways and BB and THRUST! That white repaint is a repaint of THRUST!

this is going to be the fastest cycle between photos popping up on the net and they toys ending up in the sales bin ever.

 

Did you buy any? What is the DPCI number that way the rest of us can call and check inventory.

 

That white Thrust is Thrust? meh. Not that i have a problem renaming, but meh...... Doubtful i will buy it, as i also have enough Bumblebees. in fact i have too many lol!

I will be avoiding this whole wave it seems. That Barricade is god-awful...

 

Lame repaint. I may repurpose him as movie Acid Storm or something, just to get a new character.

Still, since it's Target, they will be easily available, and discounted quickly. They are the best for that!

 

enough of the fucking repaints Hasbro, we want generations screw the children customers. we only got less than a year before you do for movie 3 and hoping some generations still get made.

 

Yeah, these did hit the shelves pretty quick after we became aware of them.

They are truly fucking awful. They make most G2 toys look like pastel impressons of a summer meadow.

 

Hold on...there's actually four different packs. If you look closely at the packs behind the front two...that's the Arcee and Tail Whip pack!

 

I'll have to get out and check my local Target this morning. Good thing it is my day off.

 

I want them all because I'm just horrible. And appreciate repaints. What a monster.

These will be extra sweet when target has to put them on 50% clearance in a few months.

I personally can't wait to see these show up in my area! I really like the bright colors and think they'll display pretty nicely. I'll definitely be getting the Sideswipe/Barricade pack and the Bumblebee/Thrust (Ramjet, anyone?) pack!

Thrust is the Thrust mold, which was the Breakaway mold with new head.

I hope someone buys and gets pics up of the Ice Cream Twins. I heard they added more to their deco, I'm curious as to what all it is.

A) the "children customers" are a bigger percentage of the market than we supposed adults, therefore Hasbro is never going to put them as lower priority.

B) the release of these reDECOS (not repaints) as TARGET EXCLUSIVES has NOTHING TO DO with how fast or how many of the mainline Generations toys come out

C) there is absolutely no correlation between toys being recolored and children customers. Even if adults were the only thing on the market, toys would still be recolored.

 

Barricade has the yellow and blue checks of the City of London Police. I guess he is supposed to be a British police car this time then? Because that would be kind of cool.

Unless there are police vehicles in the US with the same pattern on the side?
