hey fellas, new member here. long time viewer, first time poster. just thought id say hi. and to stay on topic, i picked up a HA Jazz but had to exchange it because it was missing a window...didnt notice until i tried to transform it. anything like this happen to anyone else?
Welcome aboard! I've had wheels missing before. One of the wheels on the little Prime that comes with Stratosphere, and one of the wheels on Animated Sunstorms landing gears, but never a window.
One of the little insect arms on Animated Waspinator was missing when I opened him up, fortunately I was able to exchange for another.
All the factory sealed toys I've gotten are all complete. Sucks about the window, least you can return it!
Welcome to the boards my man. It's strange, there have been a lot of posts lately about things being wrong with their toys. Someone posted awhile back about their Generations Thrust having two of the same arms...what's with this drop in QC all of a sudden? Hope I don't have any probs with my stuff when it arrives.
I'm tempted to say there was never a drop in QC since 1984. Just a growing percent of the population with Internet access, leading to a higher occurrence of bitching and whining. It's just like the stigma of Asians being bad drivers. We're no worse than any other race, there are just more Asians in the world than anyone else.
I bought an Animated Waspinator without his mandibles. I had to return it and find another at a different store.
Animated Starscream had his thumbs missing. Also got one with a missing head. Mostly for me it's missing wheels though. Nowadays I carefull check through the window/bubble to make sure all the wheels are there. Once I got a figure with all his wheels but one was about a third smaller than the others and obviously from a different figure. Wish I'd taken a photo of that before returning the figure.
