You know, I did have a couple toys (the bigger Leader-1 and Cy-Kill and some futuristic looking vehicle with no normal looking robot head. My best friend had an orange truck with windows for a head. We just used them as other Transformers.

 

You're correct on the tooling, but Puffer had different decos. This is based on the middle one (there's also a dark blue and white one).

 

God Pipes looks so dope, the amount of remolding on him really sets him apart from Huffer.

 

That's what happens when you review stolen production samples. There was a video essay explaining that these reviews aren't the true issue but rather Hasbro's inability to just show us these figures even in a render state so we can get excited about it from them and not reviews like the numerous factory sample channels that are missing accessories and/or have severe QC issues not found on 90% of retail copies.

If Puffer is also excluding it, does that means Pipes also won't have the shield piece?

 

Ah, I see. Still, it's a shame. I was hoping for a Pipes with Huffer's weapons.

Same. I think I am partial to them because they had no bios, so I made up my own. For example, Spay-C was Astrotrain's derpy but good hearted sibling.  

 

It's a tough call for me, I'm predicting this set will cost $50, so you kinda have to like both.... I'm not super crazy for Puffer, he's actually got cool stuff going for him, Silver Arms, Black Pipe Guns, new Headsculpt.

Road Ranger I want.... It's got the headsculpt I was hoping for.... Sigh. Not sure because Pipes actually looks pretty good.



I hope another set eventually gets made....

This is a set I feel would benefit from having sort of bio/tech specs included.

On a sidenote, I'm probably only wanting Puffer, so if someone only wants Road Ranger, keep me in mind.

I'm guessing that's to put effects parts so that it looks like his cannons have an explosive recoil.

I knew  road ranger   would  come sooner  or later. Grabbing both I am a  Completist of all  transformers. & Yes I have the  Ehobby  Road ranger  too. i am glad I bought 2 sets of those back then. One still sealed.. Is there a way  they  could  retool it  even more  so we can get a   wide load throttlebot maybe The back  part the leg  section?. We need throttlebots   Only  chase got one so  far besides  goldbug.

 

I think that Puffer should have used the Huffer mold.

 

I dig them I think Puffer is my least fav but I'd still be interesting in getting all 4 of the mini truck guys.

 

Maybe both of you could work out a deal?
