Ran into this the other day. A continuation of the Megatron and Bumblebee cubes with exclusive Kreons. Like those two, I think the torso printing is exclusive. The helmet is a disappointing all-blue version that I also believe is exclusive unless it's the same dark shade as Beast Blade Optimus'. Like the Megatron and Bumblebee, Optimus' face has the "lots of lines" deco and no leg printing. Unlike your usual Optimus Kreon, he doesn't have tires in his legs.

I think this might be the first reported Walgreens sighting, but he's been out for a while:

    Kre-O Block Box Optimus Prime

Speaking of Kre-O, I haven't spotted any new stuff at the discount stores in a while...maybe something new will be released when the stores start gearing up for the holidays.

EDIT: Actually, hold up...the one you posted is different from the one I found at Dollar General. The one I found at DG has 82 pieces while yours has 78. Also, the box layout is slightly different (the "Ages 6-12" is more to the right on yours, in addition to the "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" sticker(?)).

If you bought it, what's the item/assortment number on yours (should be found on the top of the box)?

The difference in piece count is totally why I made a new post for this ;) . At least there's some merit to my posting about it.

But to answer your questions, the "buy 2, get 1 free" is a sticker probably only for the Walgreen's batches. I didn't buy it because for a Kre-O collector, $7's really steep for what this is. If I run into it again, I'll check the number.

I got one for myself yesterday. So, to compare:

    Old Box:
    UPC - 630509312337
    Item # - B2963
    Asst # - B2312
Cross-Sells - Fuel Frenzy (Cityville), Autobot Ratchet

    New Box:
    UPC - 630509323753
    Item # - B3141
    Asst # - B2312
Cross-Sells - Stealth Bumblebee, Street Showdown Duel

in addition to some minor font/formatting differences, the sticker, and of course, the parts count.

Neat. I hope this means there might be some new Kre-O in the pipeline, even if some of them are just slight recolors/variations, etc..

Bumping this in case anyone is still interested in these and might not have a Walgreens around.

These (the 78-piece version) are also showing up at Ollie's. The price was either $3.99 or $4.99.

Either of those is a much better price for this.

Since it was bumped anyway, was this not worth a news credit despite new information? Is there a process to getting one?

I didn't buy one myself. Hopefully someone who did can chime in.

Nuts, I didn't even know that was a thing. I just figured this didn't get locked and all news posts get reviewed for "new-ness". I'm guessing it's not a good idea to submit the same thread through that link... Really wanted just one news credit under my name.

It's just an additional way of alerting the news staff on duty. I've frequently reported my own threads that way.

Not sure if you are talking about the Kreon Mini-Figure or a larger brick figure. The Kreon is pretty straight forward by plugging the lower half legs into the torso then attaching the head and helmet. If it is the latter, these little box packs are just extra bricks and don't come with specific bricks to build a larger robot.

But for instructions in general, here is Hasbro's instruction website. :)

Thanks for your clarifications. When you say report, that would mean using that link to make the initial post right? At this point I'm simply out of luck for posting this normally? If I haven't gotten a news credit by now, even without it being locked, I probably won't get one?

I usually start a thread like you did, and then use the link to report it in case it gets overlooked.
