"The Fugitive": Kiefer Sutherland, Boyd Holbrook Set for Quibi Series
I am glad Sutherland is playing the cop. I can pretend it is season 23 of 24.
What the hell is a Quibi?
What is a Quibi? I asked that myself, and found the "answer" at wiki.
Well okay then, 10 minute episodes, mobile quality videos... well, I pass on this whole thing completely.
And, of course, it's every major media company coming together to make it happen! Because of course they did. Of course they spent 1 billion dollars on making a mobile streaming service.
Ok easy pass now.
HI-larious. Short episodes you have to watch on your phone. This is only one half step up from tv commercials that have a psudo-continuing story. Probably 10 episodes of 10 minutes each, equaling maybe 2 episodes of an actual show, at the end of which, Sutherland will probably say, "Huh, I guess he didn't do it." THE END. I just saved everyone 100 minutes.
Plus whatever the hell it's going to cost. Because it's either going to be cost loads of money, or be free, with loads of ads. (Or, both.)
Why, Hollywood? Why? Who thought this was a good idea? Oh yea, Hollywood.
At first I was like, "oh hmm, could be inter..." and then I was like "wtf is a quiby" and now I'm all, "no thanks."
10 minute chapters aimed at younger viewers. This is an easy pass for me.
