Hey guys. New here. This crazydevy predaking hips craziness has drawn me here. I am very happy to see a possible fix for these hips. I now have a good reason to purchase them.

I've been waiting for someone to figure out the crazydevy add-ons leg parts and waist. So now I just need to get some cash to get them now and fix my own when I get them cause I need a few more parts also to go on my predaking.

hey i just finished watching the video, very interesting! i'll eventually be in need of the parts you created when i do get a Predaking.
    a couple things:
1, im curious to see your razorclaw arm extensions with the complete crazy devy predaking, and it looks much better with your waist upgrade
2, now with the crazy devy waist/thigh parts, predaking's original crotch/waist is left dangling above, which i have two ideas for that, either decals for the original waist to make it look like red abs like with Unique Toys' Warlord, or a new piece to put over it so its like abs, just an idea to do something about that extra waist piece

3, OR for those who do not want the crazy devy thigh/waist, do a waist/crotch piece upgrade that would work with the upgrades you already have started, like with what crazy devy did for King Poseidon(or Piranacon as many would prefer i suppose)

    Hey Echo,
I see your shop has the Thigh Ratchet for CDMW-36 Predaking Thighs listed.
Do you also have the Tantrum fix as well?

^^ Yeah sorry about that, sometimes the Shapeways site doesn't properly save settings. I fixed it.

I also put the two together in a kit incase you want to save the $1.50 setup charge. :)

Hi Echo, I just purchased 2 sets via the link you provided. Looking forward to it. Just out of curiosity, what is the time frame of shipping? No particular rush, but just managing my expectations. I live in New York City if that matters. Thx!

    Hi Predakwon,

Thanks for the support! I actually don't handle the production or the shipping, that is all done via Shapeways. During checkout, they should have told you the expected ship date. They ship via UPS and I'm pretty sure they ship out of NY state, so I'd guess it would be in your hands only a few days after your expected ship date.

If you have problems with the timeliness of your order or the quality of the parts, Shapeways will be the ones to help you and they have VERY good customer service.

If you have a problem with the design, let me know ASAP and I'll try to help you out!

    Regards,

    Echo

Hey Echo, I received my parts today and already installed them. The Tantrum fix rocks & I can also tell a difference with my overall Predaking stability.
I was wondering though, is there a certain way that the thigh fix should be installed (long grooves on bottom or top, little tabs on ends up or down)? I watched the video and tried to follow, but I was just wondering if one side of the thigh fix causes more resistance than the other.
    Hope this makes sense.
    Love your work dude! :)

^^ Many thanks for the feedback...when installing the thigh part, ensure the little triangle parts are facing up, and the long grooves are on the bottom. Before you screw the thighs back together, you'll be able to see the teeth click on the newly installed part.

NOTE: I highly recommend adding some grease, preferably R/C car grease for maximum longevity.

If by chance you don't have enough engagement, you can always add a shim underneath the new part...even a little piece of thin cardboard cut to size will do (although mine had plenty of engagement, so you should be fine)

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes!
