I guess what they really want is a Plus-Sized Manly Windblade w/ Type 2 Diabetes that breaks actual wind, burps bon bon crumbs while eating big macs and donuts, while chasing it down with a whole 2 liters of mountain dew.

    Wow @ShylockZeuss,

Now That is a Windblade I can get behind. Beautiful job man!

Can I repost that digibash on both my twitter and my TF Facebook Group?

Sarcasm aside, I think a few actually want what you describe.

As for me- They could make a totally beefcaked, spartan warrior figure of Prime, or Magnus, Megs... w/e. It would never occur to me to get 'offended' by it. Heck, give him a tight arse and an armored package... it wouldn't phase me.

I will never look like Leonidas from 300... but would totally call such a figure 'masculine'.

So in the off-chance Windblade doesn't get cancelled, what's the height of these models and are they scaled to one another? (I remember the IDW Optimus and Megatron being on the small size and never saw comparison shots of them next to the Bumblebee one.)

Ah this thread goes to show how many forum members miss the goddamn point of why this and that Arcee statue are sexist and bad for the line.

No, see. All female characters in Transformers should just be recolors of existing characters that weren't intended to be female/have no gender traits because that'd be how they'd do it in 1984 or at BotCon where there's no budget to make a new mold!

I'll never forget the "what the fuck?" thought I immediately had when they revealed her after those polls and had the forced feudal Japanese influence that was entirely unexpected. It just doesn't work at all to me and ruins everything.

Make sure you've got a fire extinguisher handy if you're going to set that strawman ablaze.

Then you should pay attention to what people are saying.

What I love is all of the people saying "I wouldn't care if they made a Prime with bare chest and giant bulge..." but nobody stops to question why neither HasTak nor any 3P has.

Y'know I've seen a few people being all "oh she T H I C C" but the reality is she S T I C C. I mean just look at those arms and legs. In particular, those thighs? Not healthy. They do not look like they could crush anyone's head. 0/10, failed to make me horny for robots.

...wasn't that around the same era hasbro introduced drift as a samurai-influenced neo-G1 character?..i think that japanese cultural references were just a playful character element at the time, and a nod to the franchise origins which weren't well-represented in the original G1 characterisations...

Yes, I have missed the point. I was not being ironic in my last post (quoted below so you don't have to go look for it). Maybe you could explain it to me because it kind of feels to me like "slut shaming" this figure is sexist.

I would love characters with spartan/gladiator style! There was this gladiator Ratchet in k-reo, so that's a step into right direction...kinda...

This is a toyline for children, these models are sold in big name book stores in their toy departments were children are and their parents frequent and all they do is show to world in general what shitty toyline transformers has become by reinforcing sexist tropes for female characters. This isn't slut shaming it's about being an adult in the room and trying to keep the toyline welcoming to kids and adults of any and all sexes and do that we don't need fetish models designed by porn artists in the line.

Flame toys is NOT for kids, it is for adult collectors only and if a parent buys this type of figure for their kids it is their responcibility, not company's.

I think this is pretty tastefully done compared to some other stuff that comes out of Japan. Like, it could be WAY worse.
