Have any other TFs done the bow/butterfly thing with their wings? It’s cool & ties in with her Japanese motif- makes me think of the big sash that you’d wear on a kimono (Ayane for reference there). Might be my favorite version of Windy!

I think some depictions of Mai Shiranui have a butterfly-esque pattern to the loops of her sash/belt

 

I’m really glad she’s really gone deep with her culture references. She’s already a weird idea to have a geisha robot. So go weirder.

Stealth bomber Megs was so fucking cool. Can’t believe that design was so short-lived.

 

Never really read that run of IDW but it seemed pretty interesting. I loved the design though. And this crazy stone carved angel version is wicked.

 

The Fallen is a must, but that Megatron is extremely tempting

Nah, she’s got plenty of outfits that are appropriate for all audiences!  

I did finally find a safe pic of Mai. Had to go back to her old Fatal Fury days.

 

Always loved her design. So iconic.

 

God Megatron looks like a BEAST in this. I'm torn whether or not to preorder this dude, get GT's take on the form that transforms, or get both because they both look beautiful.

The Fallen looks cool, but he needs to be more on fire to get my love.

 

I mean if I could get both I’d do it. But I like this one more. The unique parts and style which doesn’t have to facilitate a transformation looks really great.

I’m waiting to see him coloured first. Then I think my verdict will be clear.

 

I'm still waiting on GCreations to return to the game and release their version. GT's toy neuters all the aspects I like about the design, giving him more standard proportions instead of that ultra-broad, burly look, and he looks way more bland as a result.

 

I might break my oath of not buying non transforming transformers figs for Windblade, she's drop dead gorgeous !

 

Tell me about it. It's such an awesome and unique look for him that it needed to be used more. So it's cool that we're at least seeing him again in this line.

 

I will say though, I miss the M motif that the generations figure had.

 

He's still got a nice big one smack dab in the middle of his helmet.
