It’s the “look at muh diyuk” line. Attractive.
I can't wait till Kuma gets his hands on these, I expect some very epic "thrust" pictures
oof those headlight stickers
This looks like HG quality, how much is this again?
Received and built Prime yesterday. Very comparable to a HG Gundam kit, pretty solid overall. And it's entirely possible to not have to do the crotch thrust pose, he looks good standing normally.
The headlight stickers were less of a pain than I expected, used the tip of a safety pin to apply them. Good molding choices, he looks great even just using the stock kits without any additional paint/detailing (although I intend to add some eventually.)
This thing is a little smaller than I originally thought.
As it stands, I went from being really excited to kinda 'meh'.
I'd still like to see more of these.
Flame Toys [Furai Model] 02 - Starscream. Available Now!
Hell Yeah. Looking beautiful.
This Bumblebee looks awesome. I can see some toy influence in their artwork and prototype. Looks like they moved second set of wheels to the legs for a cleaner look.
The helicopter backpack reminds me of the CHUG version with the jet pack.
The helicopter backpack is almost certainly a reference to Action Master Bumblebee. Especially since they have it there with yellow rotors and blue parts.
I got Prime from Amazon and worked on him over 3 days.
Honestly, these things aren't as bad as some reviews make them out to be.
I do recommend painting him up - he looks so, so much nicer after I covered basically everything but the black connector joints, the tires, and the clear blue parts in metallic paint:
Via Flame Toys Facebook the packaging of the Furai Model IDW Optimus Prime .
Wonder if the axe from Attack Optinus will fit in his hands. Gun is cool, but this take looks naked without the axe.
Painted up my own Optimus not to long ago and made a post in the Customization section. I won't go reposting that here, but if you're interested, here's a link to that thread with extra pictures.
Minor/Repaint: - Flame Toys Optimus Prime
Overall, I'm happy with the final result. The model itself is nice and pretty stable. I was happy to find that none of the joints locked up on me when I happened to get paint on them. It can hold any pose I want pretty well. A very fun model, good size, very posable, and a surprisingly quick and easy assembly.
The artwork on these boxes is gorgeous, and of course the models themselves are awesome.
What is it with flame toys and them hips being thrust out like tha- oooohhhh.......... oh boy, acree is going to be interesting.
Oooooh. Nice! I have it preordered through my usual gunpla source, but I have yet to try the Obarimus Prime kit.
Now that I like better than wasp-waist stylized crunch-chested wtf penis proud Prime. I would still like to get both, though.
This is pretty cool. Definitely display worthy. I wonder if then the Bumblebee film makers used the IDW for their inspiration for the look of Optimus. Very similar. Especially in the chest and legs.
