Thanks guys! I wasn't expecting him to be massive, but it's nice he's a bit bigger. Reminds of the Action Master. Who was the same size as the others, but to me seemed a little thicker and taller than most of the other AM's.

yeah I think I'll start planning for a total paint scheme, I'm not crazy about that shade of green and I really don't like the bubblegum purple. That's fine though, this kit looks like it will be an excellent opportunity to go either toony or gritty.

The kit itself looks cool though. Looks like the knees and elbows will be similar to the seeker mold, but the feet are obviously unique. There seems to be a lot going on with the shoulders, and I wonder if the hips/pelvis are going to be like IDW Prime or like Megatron's.

Hmm, not sure I\'m quite digging the shapes they used.  It is in keeping with their extreme anime styling, but something isn\'t clicking to me.

I'm not a fan of the child bearing hips they've given to most of the bots in this line, but to be fair that's an awful pose for devastator no matter what proportions they give him.

I'd definitely get a model of their Star Saber figure if they decide to make one though.

I agree. I've been loving the stylization on all the others, but something here feels very wrong. He looks too... bulbous? Like he is partially made of balloons or something --there's just too many convex curves/angles and not enough straight lines.

Goddamn look at those thunder-thighs on Drift. Never noticed that til now. Actually have him and IDW OP on the way and really looking forward to having some beers and putting them together.

While I've never built one, I do like the designs of the models. I build too many other things right now and really don't need to splurge more on non-Transforming models. Still, appreciate what's being done here. Even with MMC and PX providing IDW style figures, it's cool that these really fit the primary display mode to a T.

I don't think that Devastator's free standing picture paints him in the best light, really.

I get that it's supposed to be a dynamic pose, but all I can think of when I see it is this:

Drift didn’t skip leg day for sure. Since you would be drinking , a tad heads up on drift since there’s 60+ stickers for it or a lot of masking .

I stickered up my kid's Trypticon last Christmas - 60 stickers is chump-change.

The proportions remind me of something we'd see from Studio Ox or from "Call of the Primitives", that is if Devastator was featured in it.

    I like it.

Honestly, I wanna some art of what these stylised vehicles would look like, because bonecrusher just looks goofy on devy's shoulder.

My one criticism of this kit is that Long Hual just doesn't exist out side of one pathetic panel.

is it bad that I don't like the molds of nearly any of these, but I've still been ravenously eating them up as they release because plastic gunpla-style Transformers models like these are still the greatest thing ever invented to me?!
