Maybe chrome can't be electroplated on certain kinds of plastic. They also want to avoid applying chrome to areas that will rub during transformation. Seems pretty logical to me.

Glad that they found a use for all those melted-down unsold Linkin Park Soundwaves.

You assume wrong. These are actually fully accurate to the show. It's just you didn't see them side by side too often in the show.

Oh Primus, that Megs looks so effin rad

 

The molded detailing on both Dinobot and Megatron is absolutely stunning, I wasn't in on the Maximals but these two are gorgeous enough to match their admittedly absurd pricing.

 

Either Jazz is too big or Brawl is too small...

 

Hope the Beast Wars Megatron looks better painted.  It looks like Humpty Dumpy fell off the wall and they put him back together badly.

I think Jazz has been made slightly too tall. Some photos have shown him to be roughly the same size as studio series Stinger and Bee, when he should be about a head Shorter than them (I think)

 

A golden MP-10 that won't cost me a house and three cars? Sign me right the fuck up. I actually don't mind too much that it isn't fully gold chrome. Less worry of it flaking off during transformation
