Not sure if it’s been mentioned since (I’m currently half way through this thread!) but both Blaster & Soundwave have several Dino cassettes as well   In a line that has a prehistoric theme & supposedly includes Dinosaurs / Fossilizers, it’d be a mistake not to do them I think.

I do know they’re supposedly getting rid of the Micromaster line, but there’s nothing to stop them being added to the Core (new Legend) line in a similar way that Cliffjumper & Bumblebee were added to Earthrise Deluxes. Personally I’d prefer that, as they’d get more new parts / accessories, & I think the Previous Micromaster Cassettes have been pretty hit and miss due to that.

 

Does anyone actually believe that Walmart will sell two versions of the same Prime mold in the same wave at different price points? It's not like he's a Seeker. He's recognizably Optimus Prime even if you paint him black, gray or lime green.

 

Not always, but they might on or after their birthday.

 

Noneff is good at what he does. I just got the Prime trailer set. But I wish he would sell his more ambitious projects pre-assembled. There was nothing fun about assembling that set. I would have gladly paid an extra $5-10 to avoid the work.

I think they did the Elita One figure with the sole purpose of selling her to collectors who want to display the whole fembot team. (Not Orthia) How she ended up on netflix, who knows...

They're pretty darned extensive remolds. I really don't consider them the same toys at all.

 

I’m not sure what country you live in mate, but I believe different countries have the option of having regional stockists carry them. I do know here in the UK Smyths has carried these as exclusives (it’s weird when I hear how hard it is for some to find Hotlink & Decepticon Mirage, when I see them every day!)

Plus the Netflix line is slowly being released at Japanese retail by Takara, so I don’t know if it’s cheaper buying from them directly when they inevitably get these in (though that will likely be 6 months after everywhere else!)

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but I don’t think you’ll even be able to order these from Kapow or any of the other UK retailers... Smyths apparently has exclusive UK retail of the Netflix line & forbid IDToys & Kapow (plus any other UK retailer) from getting stock in. The UK etailers all had to cancel the preorders & refund customers.

 

At this point I like the GUOP Nemesis theory.
I already have a Nemesis Prime, so I would repurpose Galaxy Nemesis as a loosely IDW styled Nova Prime.

I just don't understand why people have to take it personally, and then personally attack the critic for their opinion that was aimed at a toy and not another human, continuously.

 

Elita-1 is in the show and has been used more often in recent fiction. I really hope a 3rd party does a more G1 style roof/shield, but isn't a necessity for me. I wonder if that is why the retooling is all about bot mode. They know someone will do the easy add on.

2 Battlemasters I want and for 10 less than the Leader. Don't have room and cant care less for the trailer. I was worried that they gave us the wrong renders....but no, this one does have battle damage, its just very sparse.

The blue legs are not worth the amount of ugly battle damage.

Now that I’ve had time to collect my thoughts, I’ll comment on what I’m interested in. I am definitely in on the Coneheads as they look great. While I like the proportions on Prowl, I’ll need to see some more shots of Ironhide to really make a call. While I am still not a fan of unnecessary partsforming, the “sled” really only makes up a smaller portion of the altmode, so it should be fairly simple to remedy. Likewise, Bumblebee also has the same partsforming as Cliffjumper. However, I love Beetles so I’ll probably end up getting him too.
