No. Smokescreen was the smaller jet, he'd be Deluxe Class. Dreadwing would be the Voyager. (And I'm not sure how they'd implement combination gimmick, today.)

 

We get that and are happy for you, hopefully you'll get even better datsuns in WFC3. And better ones still in the new trilogy.
It's just that we've been wanting updated versions of Sureshot and Pointblank for a very long time. The G1 toys are really outdated. The tires were great though.

Oh I understand Arcee; I was solely referring to the Datsuns. T30 Arcee is excellent, but was incredibly hard to find--I paid twice retail when she was supposed to be out, so I imagine the aftermarket is miserable for finding her. And the TR version was just a fun extra, not the proper one people wanted IMO.

I get the desire for Earth updates and agree that those Classics molds, while not terrible, could use some improvements. I'm just saying that if they were going to do new Earth versions that they shouldn't have bothered with the Siege ones.

 

Easy answer. G2 smokescreen is actually the g1 smokescreen but kind of like a corrupted version.

Sorry if it’s already been discussed- but do we know if ‘Fast’ Tracks is expected to be a G1 Tracks autobot corvette (ala RTS ‘Turbo’ Tracks) or some kind of micromaster modulator like Ironworks?

If it is another Datsun I'll likely be OK because I have them all set up as cars as my preferred choice of mode except Bluestreak and Prowl, so hopefully I could just keep new Smokescreen as a bot... I totally understand why people might be pissed though! Even I'd rather the slot went to something else.

Arcee I totally welcome - Did she ever have a bike mode or is that someone else? While I'm pretty sure we're getting a car, I'm again wondering if she could fall under an Alternator/Binaltech mode for a repaint.

Alicon, off-hand, I couldn't really care about but who knows, especially as a potential army builder.

I'm actually most excited for Airwave as someone who keeps seeing mini outposts attached to Titans...

 

Ah. Cool, thanks. Would have preferred Tracks personally, but good to see a Fast Tracks to accompany Scorponok which makes total sense. He looks pretty cool too...

 

I do hope it's G2 Smokescreen in the end cause as much as I get people wanting Earth mode Datsuns it feels too soon to make more so if they can wait until people want to see them back that'd be cool. It'd be a cool way to also start giving us more G2 characters into Generations like a new G2 Dreadwing to go with him.

I'd think he would be a Leader personally. If Hasbro dared to make Leaders larger before they do Leader Dinobots, that is.

 

I would absolutely love a g2 smokescreen. I mean regardless of which he is, instant purchase, but g2 smokescreen hasn’t gotten much love outside his original release and a con-excl reprint of a rotf (?) figure.

I’d also be totally down for an armada smokescreen. I need more UT-generations in my life.

 

Alicon and (assuming he's a weaponizer/modulator) Airwave are musts, maybe for Arcee (a very soft maybe, considering my history with fembots) and Smokescreen? Might be that redundant bot Catz was talking about. Imma make him Blue bluestreak for reasons.

 

It’ll be interesting to see how this Arcee compares to T30, which already did a pretty solid job of representing her in toy form. Also I wonder if the Micromaster station commanders minus ironworks will see release, maybe in another ten pack?
