    Thrash? SLAYEEEERRRRRRR!!, Megadeth, Metallica (early albums), Sepultura, Testament, Kreator, Overkill.

    Death? Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom, Opeth.
    Black? Dimmu Borgir, Dissection, Darkthrone, Bathory, Venom, Emperor, Enslaved, Cradle of Filth (early materials).

    Oh and, if you like progressive metal like Dream Theater, I'm pretty sure you'll also like Opeth! :D  Go check 'em out, dude. :lol  ;)

    I haven't listened to much DT in years...is that the same lead vocalist from the earlier years (Words & Images, etc.)?

    Song had a wierd opening tho. When I first started watching I was like "This is DT? o_O ?" but eventually it slid into DT's usual progressive rock stuff.

    Good stuff.
