Full Metal Hero - New DOTM Voyager Optimus & Deluxe Bumblebee Repaints With New Weapons

I know these are probably going to wind up with the Shockwave repaints somehow, but if I were in charge of repainting these guys I would have done their evil opposites: Prime in a RID Scourge color scheme(because who doesn't love an evil Optimus?) and put Bee in animated Wasp colors (why the hell not, we already have enough of the yellow bastard floating around, so let's change it up).

 

Those repaints scream pointless and fail. Where's my damned Mirage,hasbro???

 

How the hell do you get battle damage on the roof a semi truck

 

So they took Cyberfire Bumblebee and gave it a more friendly paint job, to better infiltrate the Autobot ranks and haunt children's dreams. That about right?

What really irks me is that BB has the movie accurate wheels!   Nice going hasbro,I thought Cyberfire BB would be when you start making GOOD repaints again

Yeah, definitely not much excitement going on here. I'm not a fan of the voyager Prime mold at all. The BB mold is fantastic, but nothing new is done that would make the figure better. Sooo ...

 

These scream retailer exclusives, possibly alongside the various Shockwave repaints that we've seen.

They did that with the '07 version; I doubt they'd do it again.

What a disappointment. Hasbro has the time to make these pointless repaints, but they don't have the time to make new figures? We asked for a leader Shockwave, deluxe Mirage, HA Topspin...

And btw, I don't think little kids will be very excited when they get an evil BB on their birthday. XD

 

I can't think of a better way to describe them. There is almost nothing to set them apart from the original releases. A blue Jolt would have been a better choice, IMO.

That prime looks no different from the armies of him already on shelves.

While oddly enough, I think the BB is okay. As custom fodder. The alt. mode is bland enough that painting him up in some different colors would really make him look good.
