Not a fan of these at all... Silver Bumblebee is fugly, the colour scheme really doesn't go well with it. The new HA BB has a great colour scheme in vehicle mode (I love the stealth BB scheme), but the yellow in robot mode clashes with it.

 

And the point of this is?

 

I don't always like to add to the negativity against the plethora of BB we get, but good lord he's getting enough releases this year to represent his own line. Some have some interesting engineering and gimmicks, but this HA release really seems like a lazy attempt to get a few more bucks from the mold. My interest would have been higher if he was a nice Cliffjumper redeco with a new head. That would have been a little more classy then this. HA BB was the last movie BB I got, and will probably be the last BB I get from the movie verse. That silver BB doesn't look good at all to me either.

Funny how such an amazing mold can look bad with the wrong colors. I was playing with my HA BB for the first time in months last months and was re-amazed by the awesomeness of the mold.

 

I'm unimpressed by both, the 'Stealth BB' deco does nothing for what is still (in my opinion) a fantastic mould. Still quite surprised that they resurrected an old Deluxe BB mould, too.

 

I hate the color scheme

 

HA Jazz is the best figure in the HA line and he's a great figure imo. I agree with you on these Bumblebee repaints though.

 

DeltaStar, can we get a Reprolabel for this where on the crotch instead of (symbol) "BEE" it says instead (symbol) "PEE"? Because that would be the only redeeming value of this figure.

 

I doubt Hasbo will let Bay do that. Remember how pissed off parents were in 86 when they killed off Optimus?

I just don't understand these repaints. They look terrible in my opinion anyway.

 

Maybe it is time to stop holding out for a better HA Bumblebee and find a HFTD one pronto..that thought is plaguing me.

 

Car mode is not to shabby. The bot mode on the other hand is rather bland. A sort of bad mix of black and yellow. Sort of reminds me of HA Sideswipes repaint. Instead his was black and silver.

 

Looking at the bot-mode pic in this auction, it actually doesn't look so bad. If the yellow looks that orange in-person, it might not be so bad of a figure after all. Though I can't imagine the silver face looking any better. A couple of touch-ups here and there, and it might be a figure worthy of a purchase. Still, would love to see how the mold would look after some updating to match his new look in DotM.
