    Lol, Is this a metaphor for the situation with Soundwave? He kinda looks like a brick (alt mode) and is definitely stuck half way (in production)

    Nope. Too G1. And too small. And no minion compatibility features (except earbud Frenzy and Rumble, who look kinda dumb...).

    I still use it as a stand-in, but I'd like to see an official updated Classics-verse version that hopefully has a vehicular form... even though it would render his built-in minions moot. I've been on Team Repaint/Remold Universe Perceptor into Soundwave since the first sets of customs of that idea started popping up last year :)

    So on the note of ML Soundwave:

    Not really sure that having the ability to house the minions is a selling point for me. I mean, at my age I simply display the figures, I don't play with them so that's really more of a gimmick feature that I don't care about. Besides, I'm using the DL Ravage and PE Frembles anyway. They look better and could never fit in there anyway.

    Wait, what? This ML is too G1? But this figure isn't?

    ...What?

    As for the vehicle mode, WfC Soundwave seems decent enough.

    I never said I wanted a smaller version of this one to use as my Classics Soundwave.

    As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing out there that's yet come close to replacing Cybertron Soundwave as my Classics entry.

    he is for this classics fan. PE rumble/frenzy are awesome as well.

    bring on this mp soundwave for my my masterpieces though. :)

    I see your point. I guess the minion compatability is a byproduct of what I REALLY want... Which is true, real, honest to goodness CASSETTICONS!!!

    The PE stuff is cool. Targetmasters are cool too. But for a new, updated Soundwave to hit all of the spots, it has to have actual casseticons, and them being able to be stored in his chest/altmode IMHO.
