Yes, PLEASE do. Soundwave is so iconic I'm sure despite Takara's efforts to stomp the competition there is still plenty of money that could be made with this mold. Or even shrunk down to voyager scale as FT Shockwave is going to be. PLEASE DO SOMETHING WITH IT FT!

 

All I'm going to say is that there is still HUGE demand for MP-13 that I can't fill. I suspect it's going to exceed the demand of the actual release entirely. You may well still have a viable market here.

 

Shrink it down, if possible, I say. Doesn't matter if he can't fit cassettes, I already have great classics cassettes in the PE bots anyway. But they need a voyager boss.
You can sell your MP cassettes as obscure repaints, or something

After seeing the review on MP SW, this one from FT has a better upper thigh sculpt than the ugly Takra one.

 

Or a limited run of Soundblaster and under cut Takara at $140-$150.

Also aside from the feet design, what major faults do people have against MP-13?

I mean, I already paid for MP-13 but still, I'm curious for why people actively want a 3P version of MP-13 (and I'm being optimistic and hoping it's not 'hasblow and hackaraw sukk")

 

Even if they never release this at the MP Level, a scaled down Voyager like the Quakewave's apparently getting would be amazing! (And Id still buy this at the MP scale even though Im getting the HasTak MP Soundwave)

even though I've bought MP-13 I would still spend money on this just because of the design/detail differences.

 

They should release him as Soundblaster, altho that would depend on how fast they can get him out as I reckon he'll be pretty soon in the MP line now.

Having Soundblaster as a different mould to Soundwave would be awesome tho so they wouldn't be totally identical.

 

By the time I have the money for MP-13 it'll be long sold out, so I'd be in the market for an Acoustic Wave if it came out. Not a Soundblaster version though, I have no attachment to that character.

Although I have a feeling that the problem with releasing FT-02 is less to do with competition on the shelves and more to do with lawsuits and possible cease-and-desists.

 

Yeah, that's been suggested many times on this thread and elsewhere. And I agree, it would make since for Soundblaster to look a little different from Soundwave given his origin.

I really wish the review video were up again. That thing about the back panel and batteries makes me wonder.

 

I would only buy it as Soundwave though. I have no interest in New Soundwave.

 

I hope that if MP-13 sells out everywhere fast that they will make a second run for people that have missed out. That would make me happy knowing that the MP line is making money to keep the line going.

I know I'm looking forward to Captured Prey sending out my MP-13 order.
