Shockwave, Predaking or Galvatron.
I can confirm that the Wiki states the Maximo was a member of the Thirteen- I wrote the Covenant of Primus section on him.
Also I'm guessing that the new leader will probably be Galvatron, but I hope it won't be- and if it is I hope it's the "Galvatron title was passed down through the ages" concept.
Most likely Galvatron though.
Overlord or bust.
Seriously, give us some new characters over here. I love that half the new Autobot lineup is new characters, heck even sideswipe hasn't been in a cartoon since armada, so let's keep it going by exposing kids to the glorious pouty lips-I mean totally legitimate leadership skills and fear mongering of overlord.
That would be amazing. But considering how light hearted this show is going for....I'm sure it would be the case.
I dont think that was ever confirmed...
personally, I think that arm belongs to Alpha Trion
about the topic, when I heard "a new team of cons" I imediatelly thougth "sixshot"
but I dont think I am even close to the answer, throught I would like sixshot to be the new leader
a more possible identity would be scorponok, throught I dont like the idea very much
But the Prime cartoon didn't exactly follow the books, or the video games, and kind of wrote it's own history as it went along.
So... Galvatron could still be Megatron, reformatted. I mean, they already contradict a bunch of other stuff, why not this too?
I'd rather someone different, instead of Galvatron.
GIVE THAT DUDE A STORY
I kinda want Shockwave but having it revealed that he's working for new big bad Galvatron (or even Nova), similar to the IDW comics. Starscream and Soundwave could return to give the Bots grief in some way, shape, or form too. But I doubt they're going to go with any of this and will probably give us something completely different/random instead.
With megatron becoming Galvatron in the movies, and Galvatron taking over Decepticon leadership in the comics, yes we are entering a "Galvatron" phase. Good news for toy collectors, as in the next year we'll probably get some Galvatron figures. (I already put up a thread espousing my theory that Galvatron will get a voyager figure in Combiner wars as a retool of an upcoming Onslaught)
Though if RiD does go Galvatron, I hope they go the IDW route and he is a completely separate person from Megatron. (Or, as a compromise, I'd maaaybe accept a clone.) Not so much for Galvatron's sake, but for Megatron. Megatron as broken and semi-repentant is an interesting angle, and I do not want to see him lead the Decepticons in any way, shape or form. Because having Megatron shamed, quit the Decepticons and go his own way is interesting, and has story potential. IDW had him become a full fledged autobot. I like it, but I think there are other angles to nondecepticon Megatron that could be explored. Even if Galvatron is a flat Megatron expy, having Megatron do something different is really interesting to me.
i dont know about con leader, but cons i want to see in RID are slipstream, waspinator, and dispensor.
Lord Kledji Emperor of Quintessa, and his right hand bot Guiltaur
It would be neat if they were random bands of Decepticons in their own little factions with random activities.
Without one cohesive leader or plan.
Id like Cykill
If the new guy is Galvatron in the form of a reformatted Megatron, then that kind of screws up the ending of Predacons Rising...
You know, where Megatron declares that the "Decepticons are no more" and that he no longer wishes to inflict oppression and tyranny on others.
It'd be kind of annoying for them to back up on that just to make Megatron the villain again.
I'm thinking Shockwave.
Watch Cykill be the leader of the Decepticons for the first five minutes, but then he's killed off in favour of a new leader.
It will probably be either no real team until later in the show or some familiar name. (To the general public, not the fans who know every name.)
Separate names with a comma.
