Umm....definitely not feeling the new re-design, like a bad mix between the Terminator with Predator Dreadlocks and Matrix technology. I wonder how Mr. Furman feels about this... http://www.newsarama.com/JoeFridays/AmFan016cvr.htm Credit goes to Seibertron.
He, uh, looks fairly dodgy, yes? I think someone saw The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances once too often.
Looks 1000x better than the Original Death's Head. But then again, it was one of the absoloute worst character designs ever.
soooooooooooooooo generic. at least it's a (slight) step up from DH2. But come on, Death's head (especially the 2nd version, when they 86'd the yellow torso) was just one of the most creative character designs -- the big teath spikes, the interchangeable hands -- just so much fun, especially when Senior drew him. I'm so crushed back in High school my DH oversized Graphi Novel got stolen...
His fight against galvatron in the fallen angel tpb is just a classic. While his old design was terrible, there was something about his presentation and implementation that just fit, and was entertaining. I cant imagine anyone will care about this new design.
I've got that somewhere, signed by furman. Also, let us not forget that death's Head also holds the dubious distinction of being the first mechanoid to learn the origin of Unicron.
i like DH as a character, but i just thought there was too much of him in the UK comics. hes okay in supporting roles - like when rodimus had a bounty on his head, which he turned on cyke and scourge in the end - but it always bugged me when he featured too prominently in TF saga, like in legacy of unicron. theres like hundreds of established TF characters, why not use one of em. end rant.
Yeah, like I've always said, was a horrible looking/designed character. It's Terrax's costume, a Mr. Sinister cape, and a Colossus body with one of the most fugly and horribly designed heads slapped on top.
the 2nd one...Death's Head II....there were like other like him...dont know the names but there were like 3 other ones...
