Just get them all. You will be able to find all the Universe 2.0 ones pretty easily. I think youll be able to get all the Classics 1.0 on ebay. Its a truly Awesome line.

 

Sunstreaker is a great figure, probably the most display-worthy of the three deluxes. Tankor/Octane is the most fun to fool around with.,

The Prowl mold has a lot of potential, but the paint QC on him is so bad, that it might be best to either wait for a newer shipment or until Silverstreak shows up.

 

Luckily for him, he can just find Classics Henkei in retail. OG, Takashimaya, and Seiyu dept. stores should sell em. As for the original classics, i have some contacts. No need to go thru Ebay when you can get it locally and avoid the hassle of shipping.

yeah, i know i can find classics 2.0 easily now, ive seen em at a lot of stores..thats why i wanna get em now when stores are fully stocked with them   i think im skipping the voyagers for the moment..is Inferno a repaint as well? cheers guys

 

AFAIK, there is a movie Inferno already out which is repaint of Armada Red Alert, there's also an upcoming new mold Inferno in Universe/Classic 2.0 line.

 

Yeah, my sources pretty much i got to know thru Ebay as well. I keep their contacts for direct communication now. No need to go online. Its entirely possible you might have dealt with them before.

also, on the classics 1.0 topic..im looking for a few to start off with, some that ive seen in the G1 cartoon..im looking at prime, bumblebee...wat else should i be looking for? megatron? is classics megs a good figure? looks a bit lame to me..i dunno, i havent heard much on it..thanks

Pretty much, though it includes the Classics 2.0 figures as well. As for classics megs, i suppose it depends on your tastes. I got the original Hasbro one way back then. Eventually, i took off the wings and repainted him to make him more like his G1 counterpart. But as a figure, definitely one of the better Megatrons we've got in awhile.

All of them, even Astrotrain and Hot Rod, who, IMO, are the weakest of the line. But they're still awesome.

I think the only other "must-get" from Classics 1.0 is Jetfire.

Sorry to burst your budget bubble.   But the Classics line is one of the few lines (Only line for me) where every single figure can be recommended, Even the repaints.

If anything, also try to track down the Magnus/Skywarp 2-pack.The Skywarp repaint is beautiful and Magnus will come in handy for the City Commander Trailer set in september. Do any thing to get them.  scalper)

May i suggest going for the Henkei versions of:
-Optimus Prime
-Megatron (if you can stand the chrome)
-Grimlock (same as Megatron)
-Starscream (waaay better than the Hasbro one)
-Astrotrain

Also, i'd recommend Mirage. Awesome figure.

 

so thats...pretty much everything henkei? im definitely looking for the better ones...how much do the henkei figures cost roughly? in singapore..
ive seen some in stores..dont remember prices...also, the boxes are all in japanese? i remember seeing one box all in japanese and i had no idea wat figure it was even

i hope to get 2 or 3 deluxes tomorrow, and i hope i can find them...as mentioned in the singapore sightings thread, there are still a lot of all spark power movie figures n crap, but very few universe...

i also saw some henkei at the falcon hangar...henkei megs looks MUCH better than the hasbro version, IMO...they also had prime and a couple of others, for S$40..is that a good price? locals, comment on that..lol  

i think i'll get the deluxes first, then go into some of the classics 1.0 mentioned in above posts, and then get the ultra class figures..gonna pass on the voyagers for a while at least...

about classics 1.0 bumblebee, is the hasbro or the henkei version better?

 

$40 is definitely a good price. $50 is the standard retail price for voyagers. I'd say go for it! Besides, its not likely you'll find Hasbro V Megs anywhere locally.

As for BB, I personally prefer the Henkei one, but its better for you to see pics and make your own call.
