I think it's hilarious how each trailer and TV spot puts more and more ships in space.  

 

There's a few way off in the distance that are lined up. They may or may not actually be ships, but that brings the total to at least thirty.

Has anyone pointed out that Hound's Cigar is literally just a bullet that has been lit on fire? Cuz I think that's pretty bad ass.

well, seeing as how Grimlock is still "green" in the scene where OP is riding him in the city. I think its safe to say that Grim will stay green in the movie and not the Gold and black or the ugly Brass/Copper on the toys.

 

I think the scene where Grimlock breathes fire is right before he charges OP. I think in the background OP is kind of giving the "bring it on" wave for Grimlock to come fight him.

 

Holy crap that looks STELLAR.

I gots me a mancrush on hound. That may be one of my fav if not fav movieverse guys...yea..I like guns and military shit..

 

Yep I was going to say the same thing he's on the far left of shot when Grimmy is flame belching.

I was also going to say that the humans sitting so close to the engines on that flyer would cook them like prawns on a barbie.

Many of those scenes look like they are not by the same production people - did they farm out some of the CGI - Grimlock isn't very well lit (especially in the running into screen part) it's like they forgot to include the self shadowing render pass and the result is very videogame cutscene CGI like.
Where as the larger ship attacking a building seems decently rendered and fairly realistic.

Perhaps they didn't bother with the extra pass as they are blink and you miss them moments where as they paid more attention to realistic lighting on things more or less static that stay in frame and don't move quickly. But I have noticed some ropey lighting in some clips and the same is true in what little I've seen of DOTM too. There's a kids show where some youngster imagines dinosaurs in real life and they appear around him and they look better than this does if you pause it.

I suppose a slight drop in quality is acceptable if it means more Autobots on screen more of the time.

 

The CGI model of the guy on the ground, under prime, looks like it has taken a completely different look.

 

I'm glad we're getting Imagine Dragons instead of Linkin Park. Don't get me wrong, Linkin Park is great, and their latest album sounds awesome so far, but I thnk some of thier songs can sound just a bit whiny at times, and I think it's time for change. Imagine Dragons is a great band, and this song is just so phenomenal, epic, and more appropriate for this kind of movie. It almost feels like a revamped, non cheesy version of TF the Movie 1986 with this upbeat music.
