The entire head looks blue. It must be the hardest piece to make transparent in different/G1 colors. Otherwise he will look good next to clear(not translucent blue) Lieger/Mirage.

Might be due to the fact it's cast in colorless (?) clear plastic painted over clear black.

Looks very nice but I'm concerned about the mold degradation after Univ Screamer.

& Henkei Thundercracker. Maybe the new translucent resin has tightened the mold up... *wishful thinking*

Then again, I'm guessing most of these translucent Screamers will be staying sealed... heh

Gentei Dirge & Thrust had no issues, and they use mostly the same mold.

Glad I've pre-ordered it, looks awesome. I don't care for how many repaints they pull out, this mold deserves a purchase for every single repaint/retool because it's the best Starscream mold ever.

Yeah, me too. But after fiddling with him for a while I know why they didn't. The clear plastic feels a bit fragile, and I think making his knees clear would put much strain on them (during transformation). I'd rather have solid plastic there than clears ones that'll break.

It's because it needs to be that semi-flexible plastic, and making it translucent would make it too brittle.

Clear Lieger has translucent/transparent thighs. BT-18 Clear Rijie Exclusive (Binaltech Mirage) does as well.

Mine arrived from Bodhar today too, cheers mate :)

Only disappointment is his thighs and part of the lower arms being "solid" plastic :(

    None. Very tight.

:confused2  Ahhhh... I wasn't expecting him till the end of the month, may have to hold off on MP Thundercracker :(
^THIS^ Mwhahahahaah.... he will look nice all open and standing on my shelves next to all my other seekers
Generally not a fan of repaints unless they're Seekers, then THE MORE THE MERRIER :D  That being said, now bring on the Black Starscream repaint... and Sunstorm... and G2 Starscream & Ramjet... and generic purple Seeker repains... and Four Star Seeker inspired repaints... and... and... ummm any other use you can think of for this mold :D
who is this Bodhar2000 and how do I start getting my preorders from him? he's quick :)
