Damn why did they change Octane's name! I loved the name Octane. Anyway I am buying all the wave 1 deluxes TYVM.
It's not the "big news." There's a special image that's going to be posted at 5. However, it does indeed seem that the site crashed about 2 minutes ago, from so many of us hammering it....
Octane becomes Tankor now? I assume there's a copyright/trademark issue at play somewhere. Oh well, he'll be Octane to me just like Rodimus is Hot Rod.
It's interesting that Octane is being called tankor (or is it a different colorscheme for the same mold, that will then be repainted up as Octane?). Powerglide is a surprise. Even more-so that he's an Ultra. Also, are you sure it's ok to post this info?
Pfff, who cares what he's called? No one prevents us from calling him 'Octane' instead of 'Tankor', no matter what the packaging says! I mean, does anyone call Hot Rod "Hot Rodimus" or just "Rodimus" just because his toy is labeled as such? I can kinda see 'Tankor' for the 'tanker truck', but 'Tankor' still sounds like a He-Man character reject...

Well one of Octane's modes is a truck with a big oil tank. or. I'm guessing Octane fell into that pile of names that are off-limits to Transformers.
