Found this over at the Allspark, as an apparent followup to those auctions Lena's been posting of that oddly colored Classics Prime.

Seems there's a new Prime/Megatron 2pack out there in the Phillipines.

I'm so glad I didn't pay $100 for that Optimus in ebay, also. HOLY SHIT!!

Same here dude. I was watching all eight of them but never bid on any even though I wanted one. Well, guess what?..

 

This Prime is being sold on e-bay, there was a thread about it a few days ago.

 

Yes, I believe they were prototypes, not the regular retail versions.

 

Well I guess I'm warming up to it, they're really making a great bot mode look for Optimus.

 

That's a pretty odd decision to not paint the translucent bits on them, but they do look nice (especially Megs, he looks fierce).

 

I saw the Op during the week on eBay and dismissed it as a half finished version of a previous Classics Op reissue. That's a disaster!

The Megatron. Um yes..... The best I can do is ask why they thought Megatron was infected by the hate plague!

 

These are some of my favorite molds in the entire CHUG lines. But I have no reason to buy them in these decos.

 

That's...actually really good looking. I'll definitely get that for the right price.

The new Optimus colours aren't that bad and this is the first time Hasbro has related this Megatron with a decent colour scheme.

 

As someone who missed this era of TF collecting before a return to form (heh), I'm psyched to have the opportunity - but I thought that about the Planet of Junk Platinum set, and the price on that one put me off. Still, Prime looks great (I won't open my Cloud ver., and misplaced my TF4 2-pack ver.), I love any opportunity to add translucency to my collection, and that Megatron mold... I just don't have it! w00+ to this set!

 

...Huh, that Megatron deco is pretty....amazing. I don't need another version of that Optimus mold though. so it's a shame I'll end up skipping on that Megatron. Plus the price is probably gonna be too ridiculous for me to justify a purchase anyways.

 

okay, that megatron looks amazing, prime looks great too, though i am less fond of the clear blue in vehicle mode, but yeah i am very tempted by this

 

Love the ridiculously ugly decos. Glad I didn't win an Optimi like many others on here, and will be grabbing these. Ugh, this reminds me, I still need the Cloud Optimus at some point.

I farted around and missed out on these 2 figures during Classics Wave 1 .... BUT and as you said Bountyan, .... no desire to own these decos.

I am looking forward to anything related to the 30th Anniversary of the Movie but what I really want is a Transformers: The Movie on Blu-Ray re-release announcement!

 

I actually NEVER got any variation of EITHER of these two figures so this is a definite must get for me.
