I was a massive g1 prime fan. He was a childhood hero (yeah a fictional robot was a hero of mine). But I didn't hate bay prime. He was a more realistic prime. He got pissed off he got angry and he did what he had to do.

I'm still an optimus prime fan.

After watching this in high def, and with the spliced voice acting, I'm now more convinced than ever that this is either real footage blended in with fake footage, or some bizarre placeholder to generate buzz or advertise toys.

Was this released on an official Paramount or Hasbro outlet, or some random anonymous release?

 

What i dont get is why Bumblebee is acting like a 5 year old (hiding in the sand)....Hasnt this guy fought in WW2 ?

It's real. SilverOptimus has confirmed seeing Prime's design when he was shown concept art a while back and it matches the one seen here. It's just that the CGI in this scene unfinished compared to the rest of the film.

I'm hoping for Bumblebee to at least beat the last 2 after watching the teaser footage.

 

It took them long enough to get Frank Welker to be Megatron and to put a gun on his arm, at least he was soundwave before that

 

In Bayverse he did. We don't know how much, if anything, will be connected to Bayverse.

 

Welker was Megatron in the first bay movie was he not before Hugo weaving voiced him in rotf and Weller did the role of soundwave who sounded liked inspector gadgets nemesis who he also voiced

It's because they basically made him hotrod in prime XD

 

Is that still going ahead? It's gone a bit quiet on that front. I hope we get something eventually and the Cybertron stuff in Bumblebee hasn't been added at the last minute because the prequel's not happening.

That's basically the one huge thing that bayformers did that I never liked was how they portrayed Bumblebee.
Now every transformer seems like it has to have a Hotrod type Bumblebee.

 

Rogue 1 was awesome

 

Honestly my biggest problems with the beyformers is 1. Most characters were the same color so it was hard to tell who is who when they all started killing each other, and 2. All the plots are basically the same

They always have a cybertron relic that somehow influenced humans,
And the decepticons want it to be bad crime boys, but the autobots kick their butts and the same thing starts over

Oh and the awkward "not attractive" guy getting a hot chick at some point
I mean seriously just show us the robots
