Ok colour me confused, what exactly is coming out at botcon? There seems to be like a billion different toys, is there a list of what to expect?
Box set contains: Kup, Landshark, Scourge, Flak and Thunderclash Attendee sets contain: Razorclaw, Leozak, Skyquake, Banzaitron, Elita-1, and a rumored Sweep set that will have 2-3 Sweeps. And hell yes! Elita-1!! That's awesome! Nice find
I 100% agree. That Cyb Thunderblast mold is a POS while, for a fembot, the Cyb Override mold would have been miles better
^^ I don't know, I never liked the Override mold and I never owned a Thunderblast so this is will make a nice addition to my shelves! Hopefully the Sweeps won't leak before BC (most likely will) but I can dream!
I think it will look pretty good. I just wonder what is going to be the free figure that comes with the primus package??
I'm guessing the set breakdown will be something like: Set 1: Razorclaw, Elita-1 Set 2: Banzai-Tron, Skyquake/Leozack Attendee Freebie: Skyquake/Leozack The freebie is usually (though not always) a repaint of another figure used in that year's exclusives, and they're unlikely to put two voyagers together in one set. For all that rumors of sweeps keep popping up, I would think FP learned their lesson re: foisting army-builders off on TF-fans in '05. I mean, if there were any instance where they could get away with it, it would be sweeps... But I don't see them trying it, given that the size of the toys they're pumping out will probably require them to raise the souvenir set prices a little already. The only question at this point is whether or not they'll try to put up a third souvenir set. Alvarez and Pete have been dropping hints that the set "still had surprises up its sleeves", as it were, but they've said similar things in the past and not delivered, so...
But why Override, i dont wanna beat a horse with the whole "Nitro Convoy is a guy" topic but the mold isnt so good for a female, that's my opinion, please dont take it in a bad way. I like Chromia's mold more.
Well they sort of already did. They are very clearly visible in the Botcon comic images we have seen so far. They are a different color than scourge. The blue color on the sweeps is a more blue-greenish/aqua color a-la Thunderclash.
I agree. I don't know how you can say the Cyb Override is more sutable if your going with typical female looks than Chromia.
