Wow now we have to decide which line is more worthless. This or buzzworthy.
I got my Rattrap a while ago before the boom, but just eyeballing ebay right now a complete one is going for $60ish and that's not even carded.
Convobat and Megalligator next please lmao
All for re-releases, but when the current line has the same exact figures, um, yeah.
Had my fingers crossed for Transmetals as well, but this is still pretty cool. I was lucky enough as a kid to have all of these except for Megatron (could never find him at toy stores), so they’ll be fun to have in hand again. Hope that this does well so that we can get a second round down the line!
Wait, so when Hasbro reissues Starscream and Optimus Prime, all of the other toys have to go away?
Would it be wierd if I bought the reissue Primal ONLY so that I can then scavenge the accessories for him to use on my childhood Primal? (Who\'s in good shape but is missing all accessories and backflaps)...
I Love it. Now Beast Wars needs a cartoon series come back.
I prefer the updated versions, but have no hate for these. They actually look more kid friendly than even the modern ones and may bring a whole new group into enjoying these. I'm all for that.
The Rattrap toy isn't as common as others and goes for more then $20 played with. Any huge BW fan will love to get a minty fresh one on a retro card.
I'll take 2x of each please.
Reissues are my favorite line!
Quick, someone contact the guys at Mainframe!
Your posts beat both when it comes to being worthless.
I will. This is all nostalgia baby.
Weird no one says this about G1 issues, eh?
These aren't the exact same toys. That's the point. Kingdom makes adults nostalgic for the toys they had as kids...which these are.
Those came out before the ER figures, so there was no direct competition with itself.
hm, when I saw the article I assumed it was going to be Kingdom figures repacked on retro style packaging...
are there any major deco differences between these guys and the umpteen times they've been re-released in the meantime?
That's what I was feeling as well, may need to get a few of these for the nieces and nephews. As nice as the Kingdom figures are for us collectors, vintage BW figures are much better toys for playing (and don't have the breakage issues some of Kingdom has :/ ).
I will get this Cheetor. I do not like the washed-out blue on the Kingdom model. The other reissues are nice, too. Wish they were not WM exclusives, but still good news.
Rattrap is tempting.never had the original. The other 3 are covered with my 10 anniversary versions who arent in too bad a shape. Papa could use a new TM Primal and Megs
