I think the plane/eraser one is great! Its like a mini Skylynx, so it will be mine. These look fun and weird, which is what I like in my toys.
I agree with you guys. These are the most ridiculous and probably dumbest toys I've ever seen. The concept and execution are honestly quite horrible. Like who's idea was it to have an ambulance and a cake combine, a beetle and a train, shark and a vending machine? It's just... dumb... It's as if they saw the Bot bots and said "hey, let's make these things combine!". Just, why??? The fact that not only one, but two of them have sold out so far simply astounds me. Who is buying these things and why? I am simply bewildered.
Flash news: People's tastes are different, and the toys looks fun enough to simply fiddle on your deck, just combine and separate.
These figures are really, really fun. There's no real articulation but the toys are all about the gimmick. I have all of them but Apple/Lobster and Burger/Bulldozer since those just didn't grab me. I'd be surprised if the Tree/Taxi isn't retooled/repainted for a Christmas release.
Am I stupid or is ambulance/cake not up for pre-order on Amazon Japan? I can find Pineapple/bus but nothing else coming in September.
I'm not feeling the pineapple/bus but if I can find that Ambulance Cake on Amazon Japan I'll buy both.
