Woah. This Soundwave looks Chunky. Here's hoping this budget voyager comes with more 5mm ports than usual. I've also noticed these molds are adopting the vehicle molds associated with cyberverse.

 

Oh my sweet god that poor Grimlock... He’s so freaking lanky looking...

 

Might get Soundwave. I see that Grimlock and Starscream didn’t skip leg day.

 

I have the first Megatron and Starscream on my work desk, they\'re decent and not as bad as the Prime and Bee. Soundwave looks good as well so I\'ll probably add him to the desk fodder

Yeah. The cons seem to be surprisingly good, Even Alpha Megatron comes with both waist AND ankle articulation. I know it's ankle joint unintentional and used simply for transformation, but that's quite a feat. A shame Soundwave might lack it, but here's hoping he has enough 5mm holes to make up for that. That mold has like two accessories which top's Megatron's single fusion cannon that isn't even 5mm compatible, though he is compatible with hero mashers accessories, which is kinda curious after discovering i could put the missile pods i had from a hero mashers Megs i had lying around.

 

The two new ones look great I'll have to pick em up.

 

Look this may come off as a really dumb question but...

what... is... the Authentics line?

All in it seems to be a cheaper than cyberverse construction, but with more g1 design ques? i remember those weird authentics generations figures that came in little generic boxes a while back, but it seems the budget for this stuff keeps getting smaller and smaller. Small budget cheap pickup figures are fine, but this stuff seems... weak? I know its not a collectors line, so to criticize it based on something like Siege would be absurd, but i feel like the"Authentics" name is put on this stuff only because its so close to knockoff grade they have to specify that it is indeed first party Hasbro product.

 

Defeinetly never thought I\'d actually WANT something from this line, but that Soundwave looks like a fun little figure. I might have to pick him up. Everybody else I\'ll probably pass on, although Ratchet has a fun alt-mode. It\'d be cool to see more figures get made in this style like Shockwave, or Jazz.
